Persian Dance I Mastaneh introduced different Persian dance in different area of Persia . And shared it with Sarah my team member as we chose the topic “Dance”. Sarah introduced the other dances and we work together to make a presentation for on line. We hope it can be interesting for you to read. Persia was a big emperor before different foreign country such as :Greek, Arab and Mongols attacked it. After the Persian Empire torn into pieces , Iranian and Afghan women and young girls took as slaves by the new conquerors and made them to dance into sexual and to perform erotic dance for new rulers . According to the Islamic rules the dance was sin and immoral and corruption. In Farsi they call the dance “paykubi”. The dance in Persia dependents on the area, culture, language of the native people . KurdsKurds people have three types of Kurdish classical performers: storytellers, minstrels and bards. The Kurdish music is about gathering at night and they called it classic.

The Azerbaijan has a very old history about folk dance. The folk dances began to form at the early medieval centuries Azerbaijani folk dances are very colourful.

Turkmen

Turkmen people who lives in Iran love to dance .In young age they started dancing . They make a circle which every body rotating in one direction Men and women in the centre of the circle turning around each other without touching each other and moving their arms and hands up and down with the music .

Jews

The Israelites people use a kind of dance and song to seek connection to God .In the 18th century Hasidism started to emerge and concentrated on praying with happiness and passion.

Armenian

The Armenian dance is divided into two parts: dances with musical instruments , and song-dances.In the village the most common instruments were a large drum and primitive oboe . Other popular village instruments are shepherd's flutes and tambourine. There is a stringed instrument which played in the west part of Armenian called the sax.In the Black Sea The (fiddle) was used as a folk instrument.

GeorgianThere is different Georgian Folk Dances .Davluri is an elegant city dance which performed by pairs of men and women. The movements in Davluri are simple and the relationship between men and women is nearly informal .A few couples with colourful costumes, dance to show the picture of an aristocratic feast on the stage .

Kartuli is the classic Georgian dance. The dance is about 5 sections , the man invites the woman to join him for different dances : they dance together , the solo dance of the man , the solo dance of the woman , and the conclusion as they move together . During the dance man respect the woman .
