Do You Need the Winter“Function Better Program”?

Each winter, many folks perform activities such as bundling-up for afternoon walks, shoveling snow, clearing snow and ice off the car, visiting friends, attending children’s shows and shopping in town. If you find yourself in a position where the bending, reaching, endurance, balance, standing, walking, carrying and climbing require-ments of these activities are too difficult, too painful or even impossible, the “Function Better Program” at WORK-UP PHYSICAL THERAPY may be just what you need to perform your tasks and activities this winter! The “Function Better Program” atWORK-UP PHYSICAL THERAPY emphasizes muscle strengthening and stretching exer-cises, activities to decrease pain, condition-ing exercises on equipment as well as per-sonalized instruction to promote safe and independent function. After completion of the “Function Better Program”, many people report that they are pain free and able to lead a more active and independent lifestyle. WORK-UP PHYSICAL THERAPY is conve-niently located at 135 East Atlantic Avenue in Haddon Heights (just off Station Avenue). Due to high demand, slots for the upcom-ing winter session of the “Function Better Program” are limited and filling quickly. To reserve a slot for the program, call(856) 546-0377.

At WORK-UP PHYSICAL THERAPY, you will find that:

• Individual attention is provided by a licensed physical therapist during the entire treatment session.• The treatment sessions are provided in a friendly and professional environment.• Individuals of all ages and fitness levels are welcome.• Free transportation is provided for local seniors.• Medical monitoring is provided during treatment to ensure patient safety.

Mayor's MessageDear Neighbors:Happy 2018! I hope everyone had a rewarding holiday season. Hopefully, the extreme cold spell that we were hit with won’t be returning anytime soon. But if it does, I can assure you that your Borough team is ready to handle whatever issues might come with it – snow, water issues, or other problems. I want to thank our Department of Public Works employees who have worked tirelessly to keep our roads clear and safe this winter. As things warm up, you may notice potholes; this is due to the salting treatments to the roads. Please report any potholes to the Department of Public Works at 856-546-2580 so that they can repair them. As always, please be careful while driving during the winter season. We recently had the privilege of commending two of our fine police officers for a job well one. Recently, Patrolmen Daniel Hunt and Daniel Kinkler trusted their police instincts and stopped a truck blocking traffic on the Black Horse Pike. After investigating the situation, our officers realized that two passengers in the truck, minors, had been reported missing from

Washington, D.C. Through our officers’ work, the minors were safely returned to their families. Day in and day out, our officers, under the leadership of Chief Bruce Koch and Captain Michael Scardino, work behind the scenes to keep our residents and town safe. We have a top notch police department that we are always very proud of. I would be remiss if I did not give credit to retired Chief Rich Kinkler for his years of building up our police department. Great work by all! At our final council meeting in December, we had a full house to commemorate the nine year (9) Council career of Councilwoman Kathy Lange whose term ended on December 31st. I can think of few people who dedicated so much time, energy and effort to this town than Kathy. I can assure you that she is irreplaceable and that it will take many volunteers to take care of all of the responsibilities in government that she handled herself. She was working hard, literally until the last minutes of her term. I was also thrilled to learn that despite her term on Council ending, Kathy will continue to serve the people of Haddon Heights as a volunteer in

the role of Executive Director of our Summer Recreation Program. She also will continue to serve on the Historic Preservation Commission. Kathy, we will miss you on Council but are happy to know you will still be involved in the fabric of our town. We recently completed our annual Reorganization process. I am looking forward to working with our newly elected Council members Stephanie Madden, Chris Mrozinski and Scott Schreiber. Each of them bring unique skills and talents to the table. While we have hard fought elections in this town, when they’re over, they’re over, and everyone gets together to serve the people of the town. We have a lot to be proud of and like every other town, we face our fair share of challenges such as doing more with less dollars. I can assure you that your Mayor and Council will always be looking for ways to optimize services while keeping costs down. You deserve nothing less from your government. I would also like to thank the countless volunteers who agreed to serve on our many boards, committees, and commissions this year. We simply cannot operate this government without

the support of so many of you, and it is a testament to our sense of community that so many people want to volunteer to help make our town a better place. Keep your eyes open for the many spring events that will be happening once the weather warms up. I’m sure it will be an exciting time in town. We will provide more information as these events approach. As always, if there is anything I can do to help you or to answer any questions, please do not hesitate to call, e-mail, or stop by during my office hours, included on the front page of this HEIGHTS REPORT. - Mayor Jack D. Merryfield

As winter arrives, just a reminder that Borough Code 400-8 states that residents are required to have snow removed from their sidewalks within 12 hours of daylight following a snowfall. Failure to comply can result in injuries to pedestrians from falls or traffic accidents as they may be forced to walk in the street. A snow covered sidewalk creates a particular hardship for seniors and school children. It is also a violation to throw snow into the street.Your cooperation is appreciated.

Monthly meeting of Circolo Italiano of South New Jersey is on Monday February 12th at 7:30 pm in the Haddon Heights Borough Hall, 625 Station Ave. Haddon Heights, NJ 08035. Enjoy a video presentation of “Two Greedy Italians.” Over 30 years ago, Antonio Carlucci and Gennaro Contaldo each left their native Italy separately headed to Great Britain where they met and worked together, soon establishing themselves as leading authorities on Italian cooking. They have been called the Italian Laurel and Hardy because of their humorous interactions when they return to Italy and go on road trips to various regions to sample local food treasures, which they cook and eat with gusto. Join us for free refreshments after the program. Guests are welcome. You don’t have to be Italian to attend or to join the club. What’s New at the Station? Many of our visitors remark on the detail of both the layout and our trains. We model in great detail to capture the features that make our railroad an accurate representation of the northeastern railroads in the 1960s. While we enjoy running our trains at shows, we also take great care to make them an accurate depiction of real railroad equipment. This captures the history of both railroads and their equipment that have not existed in many years and requires historical research to make sure the models

are historically accurate. This research involves trips to locations such as former coal mines, historical photographs, and visits to railroad museums. You can visit the station during our next open house on May 12th for Down by the Station Day or any Wednesday night from 7:00 pm, during our weekly meetings. Our website is: www.dsmrrc.org and you can find us on facebook as well to check on progress in maintaining the station and expanding our railroad.

PAINTING IN THE STATION AVENUE HISTORIC DISTRICT

The PNC Bank on Station Avenue recently did some restoration and paint work on its historic wooden windows. This colonial revival building with its massive wooden windows and original bank entablature is a contributing and integral part of the Station Avenue Historic District which is listed on the local, State and National Register of Historic Places. The maintenance of the historic windows is well worth the expense. Replacement windows would not provide the same depth or shadows that reflect from the windows. Routine maintenance and painting is permitted in the historic district without Historic Preservation Commission review; however, all renovations and additions require permits and review. The Historic Preservation Commission does not regulate paint colors as paint is considered a temporary thing. The Historic Preservation Commission meets at 7:30 p.m. on the last Thursday of the month. They are available for consultation with any resident who wishes to renovate or restore his home under the Secretary of the Interior’s Guidelines for Rehabilitation whether or not they live in a historic district. Please notice these grand windows the next time you are on Station Avenue!

We often give a lot of time to plan our New Year’s Resolutions, and we often forget about them quickly. Now that February and March of 2018 have made us turn to new pages on our calendar, it is never too late to formulate a new resolution to help make 2018 a great year. We have an easy way for you to make this a fabulous year for yourself and others!

Here in Haddon Heights, we have an organization known as Haddon Heights Good Neighbors. Formed in 1979, HHGN provides short-term financial assistance of material nature to residents in need. As an organization of the people, by the people, and for the people of Haddon Heights, we pride ourselves on helping members of our town when they are struggling. After all, shouldn’t a sense of community come with a sense of responsibility?

What better resolution can one make than to help others in our very own town? This can easily be accomplished. One way is to join the HHGN which typically meets the 1st Wednesday of January, May, September, and November. These meetings are held in Borough Hall at 7:00 PM.

Another way is to make a donation to the organization which will be used to help residents in our community. Whether it goes toward rent, utilities, groceries, or home repairs, we investigate every request and independently determine its worthiness. Our hands-on approach ensures that money goes to where it is needed the most.

We want to thank all of you who made generous contributions to the Haddon Heights Good Neighbors Organization during our October 2017 fund raiser. We would also like to thank the Sons of Italy Committee for its generous donation during the holidays. Your support has not gone unnoticed. We hope that you can continue to make a resolution to help our organization.

Trouble Brewing Coffee House514 Station Avenue, Haddon Heights, NJ 08035

856-617-6638HOURS: Tuesday - Friday 7am - 5pm / Saturday 8am - 5pm / Sunday 8am - 1pm / Monday CLOSED

Thank You for Your Dedication to Our Town

Haddon Heights newest coffee shop opened on October 13, 2017 - Friday the 13th. A date fitting for an establishment named Trouble Brewing, thought owners Catherine “Cat” Short and Tom Hutchison. Trouble Brewing Coffee House, located at 514 Station Ave, is a comfortable, spacious spot to meet up with friends, connect to free Wi-Fi for homework or business needs, or just relax with a great book. The updated space is conducive for gatherings and events or you can reserve the space for your own private party. Trouble Brewing Coffee House proudly serves and sells LaColombe coffee and espresso products along with an assortment of pastries, a light breakfast menu and lunch options, including paninis as well as a soup and mac & cheese of the day. As residents of Haddon Heights, Cat and Tom felt it was important to create a destination for the entire community and something that would

complement existing businesses on Station Ave. “We didn’t want to compete with anyone, just establish a neighborhood coffee shop where everyone feels welcome”, said Cat. With a strong sense of community, they sought out local businesses to help along the way. The crew at E&R Contracting brought new life to the space, ArtSign created their memorable exterior signs, and many other Haddon Heights residents provided services from consulting and space planning to advertising and merchandising. Continuing with the theme, Trouble Brewing serves Redhouse bagels and sells locally baked cookies and handcrafted confections to pair with your hot or cold beverage of choice. “From the beginning we’ve felt a sense of excitement from the community and we appreciate all the support and positive feedback we’ve received”, said Tom. Three months after opening, Tom and Cat have learned a lot about running a business, met a lot of great people, and confirmed what they already knew: Haddon Heights is a great place to be.

Wow, a professional development, readiness, get inspired initiative called College, Career, Ready, Set Go was the theme for approximately two hundred seniors at the Haddon Heights High School on Thursday November 16th. Higher Ed Assist, a New Jersey base education company hosted the event and provided a variety of local and regional career and education professionals, 22 to be exact, to share their story and perspectives to students on careers such as nursing, television production, building trades, entrepreneurship, IT/web design. sports marketing to name a few. The event was detailed and structured where students rotated sessions to experience a new perspective and in the end one autographed Philadelphia 76ers basketball was raffled off to one lucky student compliments of the Philadelphia 76ers organization and Matt Yoder.“Our Career, College, Ready, Set, Go” program was a great opportunity for students to engage, be inspired, ask questions, obtain perspectives on careers and education and to listen to professionals tell their story before heading to the next station said founder of Higher Ed Assist Dr. Thomas Maguire. The event kicked off

with Mr. Don Borden, President of Camden County College and Keri Neidgi and Ed Gonzolas from Sallie Mae as guest speakers who touched on many valuable key points such as career/education paths and financing an education. “The point of the program was to create awareness for students,” Dr. Maguire explained. Students may know that a nurse for example assists patients in many ways but understanding what training, education and specific duties are required in addition to listening about experiences is important. “They walked away with enhanced perspectives. It gave students a chance to hear a different voice. ”High Ed Assist’s events are extremely beneficial for students when it comes to determining what type of education if any to pursue, “They may discover that a technical or trade education is a better route to take compared to a four year degree based on their objectives,” he said.Dr. Maguire, founded Higher Ed Assist hosts this initiative all over the tristate area for youth based organization. In

addition to the Career, College, Ready, Set, Go program, Higher Ed Assist partners with colleges and corporate sponsors, to deliver other out-of-the-box career and education programs. For more information on Higher Ed Assist’s programs, visit higheredassist.com.

With this new year upon us, Haddon Heights Elementary PTG continues to work to bring events, assemblies, and opportunities to the students and staff of our elementary schools.

With great success last year, our PTG sponsored the second annual MLK day of service on Monday, January 15. Under the direction of technology teacher, Mrs Gravener and preschool teacher, Mrs, Goodfriend, families joined together to create hand-tied fleece quilts for the Cozies for Chemo campaign. This non-profit organization provides hand tied fleece blankets to cancer patients throughout the United States and Canada. Service continues to remain a central component to our organization.

The annual Valentine’s day dance will be Friday, February 9 from 6-8 pm This night provides low-cost family fun for the students of our elementary schools. With the teacher basket raffle and DJ playing eclectic tunes, this event remains a popular way to celebrate Valentine’s day together.

Also in February, each elementary school will enjoy school-wide assembly programs from the Mad Science of West New Jersey. The topics and demonstrations include the three states of matter, air pressure (using the Magdeburg Sphere), a Hot Air Balloon, the Mad Science Hovercraft, a giant size vortex generator and finally the Big Sneeze demonstration. We are pleased to present this program as a result of our HHPTG fundraising campaign.

Save the date and join us for our fourth annual Designer Bag Bingo Thursday, March 1 at St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church, Cherry Hill. This adult-only evening has grown into one of our biggest fundraisers. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door. This ticket ensures access to 10 rounds of bingo, 3 basket raffle tickets and one door prize ticket. Consider

grabbing nine friends to reserve a table for $280. Press your luck with the 50/50, basket raffle and silent auction too. Food, drink, and paper products are bring your own, as we enjoy a night-out benefitting our public schools. All profits go back in full to our HHPTG, which provides technology support, teacher grants, enrichment opportunities, and assembly programs for our elementary schools.

To reserve a space in advance, please contact Danielle Linaris at [email protected]. To donate a raffle basket, please contact Jackie Schroeder at [email protected].

Our school wide Science Fair will be held, Thursday, March 22 from 6:00- 8:00 pm at Glenview School. Members of our community are invited to attend this display of student and class exhibitions and experiments from all three schools.

The members of the Haddon Heights Shade Tree Commission wish everyone a happy and healthy new year. We thank all those who help us plant over 1300 seedlings this spring and especially the Haddon Heights Rotary Club for their generous grant that enabled us to plant 2 ½ inch street trees. The Rotary Club has partnered with the Shade Tree Commission for over 30 years. THANK YOU ALL!!!The Holidays are over and SPRING IS AROUND THE CORNER…. Keeping the faith. On these frigid, stuck in the house days, it’s a great time to plan your tree planting and pruning. Trees add to the value of the entire community’s property values. Proper placement of trees in your yard will reduce the cost of heat and air conditioning. In planning your garden please remember that we have a statewide ban on the planting of ASH TREES!! If you would like more information related to the Emerald Ash Borer please review information on the state website at emeraldashborer.nj.gov.When planting please be mindful to properly place your trees to avoid collisions with power lines and buildings, and always call for utility mark-outs.Each year we have more resident requests for tree planting and pruning than our budget and manpower can provide. You can help to increase

our tree canopy by planting on the curb strip, provided you notify the Shade tree Commission in advance with the location and tree species. The proper planting tree list is provided on the borough website. We are aware that at times your request for removal or pruning is listed for a period of time or you may have an issue with a tree on the curb strip area. NO TREE CAN BE REMOVED OR PRUNED WITHOUT APPROVAL BY THE BOROUGH!!!!. We encourage home owners to maintain the trees along the curb. However, it is imperative that all maintenance is conducted in accordance acceptable Arboriculture Guidelines and by a licensed operator. WE MUST BE NOTIFIED IN ADVANCE!!!We are always available to answer your tree questions. Happy Planting. The best day to plant a tree was yesterday, the second best is today!

Kings Run, the 66 con unit condominium building on East Atlantic, is part of the White Horse Pike Historic District and listed as an “intrusion” because it was built after the 1890-1920’s period the District protects. It had been the site of Mayflower Moving & Storage’s offices, warehouse and parking lot. The building was built to be “compatible” in the district having complimentary building materials and design. Now the condominiums have been completely sold and the owner of the vacant units has left the building. Management is being turned over to the Home Owners’ Association. While the building is over-55 and adults only, 20% of the units may be owned by someone younger.

Residents are a varied group: 25 people moved from within Heights; some have children nearby; some are snowbirds; some are handicapped; some are bikers, walkers and exercise enthusiasts; some couples, some singles, some widowed, some sisters. Some have been friends for 60 years; some graduated from HHHS; some rediscovered people with whom they went to first grade! All are nice people and happy they made the move to Kings Run. There is no sample now, so if you are interested in moving to Kings Run when a vacancy arises, contact a local realtor.

120th Anniversary CelebrationFebruary is “Anniversary Month” at Haddon Heights Baptist Church and this year the borough’s first church, founded in 1898, four years before the borough’s incorporation, celebrates its 120th year of existence.

Special events will occur all of February. The centerpiece of the month is “Anniversary Sunday,” February 4th. After an AM service of celebration, the congregation will enjoy an all-church dinner, followed by an afternoon of remembrances and recollections of the church’s history, as well as a challenge from God’s Word with a look to the future of the church in the community. All are welcome.

AwanaWith the holidays behind, Awana clubbers thronged back to club in January with a renewed vigor to push through their handbooks, working toward the goal of finishing strong in Scripture memorization and Bible study.

Training for “AwanaGames” competition begins in February, with an eye on the prize at the March 3rd event.

In March, “SpeedStacking” and the annual “Grand Prix Races” are the focus of clubbers. Skills at stacking cups competitively will be worked on feverishly, as will the design and construction of pinewood race cars for the gala race event on the evening of March 23rd.

Awana, which stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, is a kids club for children age 3 through 6th grade. Emphasis is on wholesome game activities, Scripture memorization and Bible-based teaching. Awana meets Wednesdays, September through April, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. All are welcome and parents of clubbers may attend Bible Study groups held at the same time as the clubs.

Youth GroupsThe church’s Jr/Sr High Youth Group meets on Wednesdays from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm September through June. Come for food, fun, fellowship, a challenging speaker, good music and games.

The group plans an exciting “Escape Room Mystery” event on January 28 at 7:00 pm. Pastor Jake invites all teens to come help solve the intriguing mystery he has for you.

Jr/Sr February and March events had yet to be scheduled at this printing, but are available on the church website and Facebook.

The church’s College and Career group, Crossroads, ages 18-30, meets every other Monday at 7:30 pm for Bible Study. January events include an “Escape Room Mystery” event on January 27 at 7:30 pm. The Quest group of young marrieds (age 20-40) will enjoy the same event on Sunday, January 28 at 1:00 pm.

Day of Prayer & Granny ClubHaddon Heights Baptist Church believes that a foundational reason the church has been in existence for 120 years is the commitment of its members to praying for one another. Wednesday Prayer Meeting has been in existence for all of those 120 years. Now, the church is adding a monthly Day of Prayer to lift up the fellowship in prayer to the Lord around the clock on the second Tuesday of every month. In addition, a Granny Club meets on the first Thursday of every month for grandmothers to meet and uphold their grandkids in prayer.

On January 27 at 9:30 am, the ladies of the Women’s Ministry will gather for a “Swap Till You Drop” event. Ladies may bring home goods they don’t need and swap them for items other ladies don’t need.

St Mary’s Episcopal Church

Feb & Mar 2018 The Heights Report 21

Yes, It’s a real conversation – and, unfortunately, not an uncommon one. One of the challenges of life at St. Mary’s is the absence of a visible entrance! The main door opens onto Green Street – which essentially serves as a drop-off/pick-up spot for parents entrusting their children to the Atlantic Avenue School. That means most people who travel Green Street are watching for children, not taking in the sights! But we are open, and we hope you know you are welcome to stop in for a service or a few quiet moments of prayer or even for a cup of coffee/tea and conversation. You don’t need to be Episcopal to come. You don’t even need to be a regular church go-er of any kind. Here are some of the upcoming events we hope you will consider: Sunday, February 11th, 4 p.m. - Sundays at Four. The Arts are God’s way of allowing limited human beings to share in God’s own creative nature. This is the third of our 2017-2018 wonderful (and free to all) Sundays at Four concerts. Come enjoy an afternoon of favorite operatic arias and other highlights along with popular Broadway tunes and valentine treats. Featuring: Dorothy Cardella, soprano, James R. Longacre, tenor and Mark Yurkanin, piano.Wednesday, February 14th - The moment of grace we call “Ash Wednesday”. There will be several opportunities to receive blessings and to hear God calling us individually and as a community to repentance and change. For those who would like to come to church to receive the blessing of ashes, our Wednesday Eucharist with Healing Prayers at 10 a.m. will include distribution of ashes. We will also have the church open for simple distribution of ashes between 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. We will have Evening Prayer followed by distribution of ashes at 6:30 p.m. For those who cannot make it to church to be blessed with ashes, we will participate in the “Ashes to Go” program this year. “Ashes to Go” brings the spirit and human longing together, outside of the church building, into the busy places busy people pass every day, including street corners and parks, transit centers, businesses. The locations you can find us will be posted on our Facebook page and on our website – StMarysHHnj.orgWednesdays in Lent: February 21st, February 28th, March 7th, March 14th, and March 21st – Prayer, Food, and Conversation. We invite you to join us on Wednesday evenings for Evening Prayer (6:00 p.m.), followed by a simple meal of bread and soup (6:30 p.m), and then followed by conversation which will feed your spirit (ending no later than 8:00 p.m.). You are welcome to join us for any part of the evening, even if you can’t stay the whole time. If your body, spirit, or mind need nourishment, this is an event for you!

Fridays in Lent: February 16th, February 23rd, March 2nd, March 9th, March 16th, and March 23rd - The Way of the Cross Today (3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.) The 3 p.m. service will be a more traditional Stations of the Cross, which commemorates the great suffering of Jesus in his last days. The 6:30 p.m. service will invite us to reflect on the path of those carry the cross today, suffering because we – as God’s people – have not yet learned to live in love. Those who are concerned with the big questions (like - “How can a good and loving God let people suffer?”) may be drawn to the evening service and will be warmly welcomed!Palm Sunday, March 25th, 10:00 a.m. – Traditional Palm Sunday Eucharist with the procession with palms. Also on Palm Sunday, March 25th, at 4:00 p.m. – Sundays at Four. In this fourth of our 2017 – 2018 concerts, we will present “The Seven Last Words of Christ” by Theodore Dubois. Combined choirs featuring Teresa Bonilla, soprano, Danny Eyerman, tenor and Jeff Chapman, baritone. William Fenimore, organist with Kyle Sheppard, guest conductor.Wednesday, March 28th, 6:30 p.m. – The Service of Shadows & Darkness (also known as the Service of Tenebrae). Tenebrae is a prolonged meditation on Christ’s suffering. Readings trace the story of Christ’s passion, music portrays his pathos, and the power of silence and darkness suggests the drama of this momentous day. As lights are extinguished, we ponder the depth of Christ’s suffering and death; we remember the cataclysmic nature of his sacrifice as we hear the overwhelming sound of the “strepitus”; and through the return of the small but persistent flame of the Christ candle at the conclusion of the service, we anticipate the joy of ultimate victory.Maundy Thursday, March 29th, 7:30 p.m. – Maundy Thursday Eucharist, including the Washing of Feet. Following the service, we will maintain a Vigil at the Garden or Altar of Repose until midnight. The Vigil will resume at 6:00 a.m. and will continue until 11:00 a.m. You are welcome to visit our church during any of these hours.Good Friday, March 30th, at noon. – The Service of the Passion. Saturday, March 31st, 8:30 p.m. – the Great Vigil of Easter service. This is the first service of Easter Day. This joyous celebration which includes light, lessons, music, Baptisms and Renewal of Baptismal vows, and the Easter Communion. Sunday, April 1st, 10:00 a.m. – The Day of Resurrection Eucharist. A second joyous celebration of the Lord’s resurrection!

February brings with it the chance of snow and cold weather that tends to keep us at home by the fireplace and unwilling to make the effort to go places and participate in events and activities.Taking the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon in a warm, welcoming place is well worth the effort, especially when you can spend that time listening to great music performed by amazing artists. That will be the case on Sunday, February 11th when St. Mary’s Episcopal Church hosts the first of its 2018 concerts that are part of the “Sundays at Four” series. Soprano Teresa Bonilla and tenor Danny Eyerman, as well as other singers from the Glassbrook Vocal Ensemble of Princeton, New Jersey will feature a wide variety of music that can be enjoyed by everyone. The following month on Sunday, March 25th at 4pm, St. Mary’s will feature combined choirs, along with soprano Teresa Bonilla, tenor Danny Eyerman and baritone Jeff Chapman, performing “The Seven Last Words of Christ” by Theodore DuBois. Guest conductor, Kyle Sheppard will be in the house and St. Mary’s organist and choirmaster, William Fenimore, will be accompanying the singers on St. Mary’s 52 rank Shantz organ. This concert takes place on Palm Sunday and is a perfect way to begin a contemplative Holy Week in preparation for Easter Sunday on April 1st.Both of these concerts are free and open to the public. For more information, contact St. Mary’s at 856-214-3317.
