1.1 Call to Order / Quorum Check

The Nadcap Management Council (NMC) Metrics Committee was called to order at 10:30 a.m., 24-Oct-2016.

The meeting was restricted to Committee members as well as NMC members and invited guests.

1.3 Code of Ethics, Anti-Trust & Conflict of Interest was reviewed by Richard Blyth.

1.4 The NMC Metrics Meeting Agenda was reviewed.

1.5 Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes

Motion made by Jason Jolly and seconded by Jeff Lott to approve the minutes from 21-Jun-2016 as written. Motion passed unanimously.

2.0 REVIEW METRICS COMMITTEE CHARTER, CURRENT MEMBERSHIP STATUS

The attached NMC Metrics Committee Charter was reviewed. Jeff Cerre, Bertrand Fath, and Lindsey Shaw will be added to the NMC Metrics Committee. Jason Jolly and Alberto Portal will be removed.

3.0 RAIL

The attached Rolling Action Item List (RAIL) was reviewed. Action Items MCA-74, MCA-75, MCA-77, MCA-79, and MCA-80 were closed based on actions at this meeting.

4.0 REVIEW NMC/BOARD OF DIRECTOR’S (BOD) METRICS

The attached BoD Metrics were reviewed. All metrics are “green”. The team agreed to maintain the same metric goals for 2017.

A sub-team consisting Pascal Blondet, Richard Blyth (lead), David Cianfrini, Bertrand Fath, Ana Ottani dos Santos, Victor Schonberger, and Lindsey Shaw will review the current metrics and

consider potential new metrics that could be implemented in 2018. NMC and Task Group attendance were a couple metrics that were suggested for consideration.

ACTION ITEM: Pascal Blondet, Richard Blyth (lead), David Cianfrini, Bertrand Fath, Ana Ottani dos Santos, Victor Schonberger, and Lindsey Shaw will review the current metrics and consider potential new metrics that could be implemented in 2018. (Due Date: 23-Oct-2017)

5.0 TASK GROUP METRICS SUMMARY REVIEW [MCA-64]

Richard Blyth reported that he and Glenn Shultz have been continually reviewing the monthly task group metrics. The Coatings task group had the most instances of a red metrics (3) due to increased cycle time by suppliers and the task group. This also occurred in the last period. The Coatings team was contacted and aware of the red metrics which were a result of auditor change, increased NCRs, and increased time in review.

Richard and Glenn will continue to review the task group metrics monthly and request explanations for any red metrics. Metrics and summaries are located in eAuditNet under the Metrics application and in the NMC Work Area.

6.0 BALLOT DATA METRIC PROPOSAL (MCA-77)

Richard Blyth presented the updated proposal for a metric to measure NMC ballot participation and Task Group ballot participation that included the suggestion to separating “Letter” Ballots from Affirmation ballots as well as differentiating subscribers that have a voting member vs those that do not have a voting member on a task group. The committee agreed with the approach and to have it automated in eAuditNet. Glenn will submit an eAuditNet enhancement for this metric. The team would to review the ballot data at each NMC Metrics Meeting. MCA-77 is now closed.

ACTION ITEM: Glenn Shultz will submit an eAuditNet enhancement to have the document balloting metric automated in eAuditNet. (Due Date: 21-Feb-2017)

7.0 NADCAP UPDATE

The team reviewed Scott Klavon’s Nadcap Update presentation.

8.0 NADCAP EFFECTIVENESS & CUSTOMER SATISFACTION UPDATE (MCA-74, MCA-75)

Russ Cole presented an update on the gaps that exist with the various Nadcap constituents and how they are being addressed within the Nadcap program. Since all activities are being completed the team agreed to sunset this sub-team. The next Nadcap Effectiveness and Customer Satisfaction Survey will be distributed during the first quarter of 2017. MCA-74, MCA-75 and MCA-80 are now closed.

9.0 NADCAP STRATEGY COMMUNICATION UPDATE (MCA-79)

Jeff Lott presented the Nadcap Strategy Communication presentation. The presentation will be given at the October NMC At Large Meeting. It will also be presented during Auditor Training in October 2017. MCA-79 is now closed.

ACTION ITEM: Glenn Shultz will ask the Auditor Training team to include the Nadcap Strategy Communication in the October 2017 auditor training. (Due Date: 31-Oct-2017)

10.0 NEW BUSINESS REVIEW

Jason Jolly is stepping down as the NMC Metrics Committee Vice Chair. The committee is requesting volunteers to fill this open position.

11.0 NEW ACTION ITEMS

New action items were reviewed and will be added to the RAIL.

12.0 MEETING FACILITATION FEEDBACK

There were no suggestions to improve the meeting.

13.0 ADJOURNMENT – 24-OCT-2016

Meeting was adjourned at 12:00 pm.
