Passing the Performance Review Requirement

□Initial to Professional, HOUSSE, & Public

Recognition□Complete two performance reviews with

What is the Alaska Teacher Performance Review?

What happens next?

□Your performance review will be scored by trained reviewers who are classroom teachers from rural & urban Alaska

□When the review is complete, you will be notified via email & USPS of your scores. (If your address changes, please notify Teacher

Certification at [email protected] )

What happens to my performance review?

□Your videotape will be returned 90 days after you receive notification of your scores.

□Your documentation will not be return. A copy of your scores and your documentation will become part of your certification file.

What happens if I do not score proficient on a

submitted performance review?

□You may submit as many performance reviews as necessary to satisfy the performance review requirement.

□If your Initial certification date is September 1, 2006, or later and you do not satisfy the performance review requirement, you will not be eligible for Professional certification.
