The Club at Cordillera - One-of-kind, world-class
facilities with three championship golf courses and
a 10-hole short course. Manage all aspects of the
development including golf operations, golf maintenance
and renovations, summer and winter recreation, two
athletic facilities, three restaurants and all administrative
functions. Development of membership sales and
programming for this 1,185-member club (at sell out).
Catamount Ranch and Club - Unique development
with 105 homes and an 18-hole, Tom Weiskopf golf
course. A private, 530-acre lake for Catamount members
only is located eight miles away. Manage all aspects
of the development including golf operations, golf
maintenance, summer and winter recreation, athletic
facilities and two full service restaurants. Responsible for
all management and administrative functions, including
membership sales and programming for the Club.
Amanali Country Club - This new project is located
approximately 45 minutes outside of Mexico City on a
large lake and features golf and boating amenities. The
views are spectacular and the land superb. The scope
of the project includes planning of facilities, project
management, golf course construction, and on-going
golf course maintenance.
Adams Rib Country Club - A high-end, exclusive golf
development located in Eagle, Colorado. This project
features a Tom Weiskopf-designed golf course, a 40,000
square foot clubhouse, and various other amenities
currently in the development stage. The scope of work on
this project has been technology infrastructure including
wireless and fiber optics design and installation.
Altozano Golf Club - Located in Morelia, Michoacan,
Mexico, this new semi-private facility is a spectacular golf
course designed by Rafael Alarcon and Carter Morrish.
Our role is project management and golf maintenance
management.
Punta Lobos - Located in Todos Santos, Baja Mexico, this
spectacular piece of property is in the beginning phase.
Plans feature three golf courses, including the first Ochoa
Hills-planned course, three lodging sites, and a deep-
water marina with facilities that will be second to none.

Mr.JosephBlairPetrashCCM,CHA-Principal
Joseph Petrash has cultivated his vast knowledge of the
luxury golf club experience as President of Cordillera
Club Properties, LLC where he is responsible for the
operation of four high-end golf community develop-
ments, located in Colorado and California.
At the Cordillera Group, Petrash has held the positions
of Executive Vice President for the Club at Cordillera,
a 7,500-acre mountain community in Colorado’s Vail
Valley, and the Clubs at Catamount Ranch & Club in
Steamboat Springs, Colorado. During his tenure he has
been directly accountable for pre-opening operations,
system and policy implementation, revenue manage-
ment, member relations, membership marketing and
sales, food and beverage, golf operations and organiza-
tional development. Prior to joining the Cordillera Group,
Petrash worked for Lakewood Country Club and Marin
Country Club where he held the position of
Chief Operating Officer.
Petrash applies his operating philosophy: “the Mem-
berandGuestsalwayscomefirst,” in many ways
throughout club operations but especially in service and
hospitality. He believes that this business is all about
being available for Members. His goal is for each
Member to forget the outside world the minute they
pass through the entrance gates. However, this must
always be achieved while balancing the needs of the
ownership group.
Petrash has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospitality
Management from Florida International University in Miami,
Florida. He is a Certified Club Manager (CCM) and a
Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA), as well as President
of the Colorado Golf Course Owners Association.
Mr.WilliamR.Timken,Jr.-Principal
Bill Timken brings 20 years of successful sales experience
to Border Golf Group from a career on Wall Street. Timken
has worked for the following prestigious firms: Dean
Witter, Everen Securities, and the U.S. equity division of
the Royal Bank of Canada.
During the past two decades, Timken helped place
dozens of initial public and secondary offerings with
large and small institutional investors. Some of those
clients included Wells Capital Management, Columbia
Management, The Capital Group, AXA Rosenberg, and
Franklin Templeton. Timken excels at the day-to-day
nurturing of customer relationships in addition to
resolving client issues. Timken primarily focuses on
sales and acquisitions of properties and management
contracts as well as working with financial institutions
to obtain financing and development funds.
Timken has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from
California State University, Hayward. He also currently
holds Series 7 & 63 registration from the SEC.

Development
Marty Suarez is one of the most respected marketing
professionals in the Vail Valley. With over a decade of
experience developing and implementing successful
marketing programs, Suarez has a resume that exemplifies
return on investment. Her understanding of the market
and buyer is unprecedented.
Prior to joining Borders Golf Group, Suarez held the
positions of Marketing and Sales for Paramonte Private
Residences at the Cordillera Lodge & Spa and Director
for the Cordillera Metro District. While at Cordillera, she
was challenged to cross sell the neighborhood real estate
with the Club at Cordillera, the Cordillera Lodge & Spa,
the community amenities and the Vail Valley lifestyle. Her
marketing strategy resulted in a 49% increase in overall
property sales in just one year. Club at Cordillera member-
ship sales increased 33% and she also spearheaded a sell
out of memberships to the Cordillera Vail Club. Custom
home sales increased by 34% and the Lodge stays
increased by 55%.
Suarez has also held the position of Marketing Director
for Brightwater Club, an exclusive golf community on the
western edge of the Vail Valley. Generating $30M+ in real
estate sales and the complete sell out of the Founders Pro-
gram pre sales. Suarez also held senior marketing manag-
er positions for Beaver Creek Resort and Vail Resorts Inc.
Suarez has a Bachelors Degree in Journalism and
Advertising from the University of Georgia.
Mr.JamesPyke-DirectorofFinanceand
Information Technology
Jim Pyke is an experienced leader in Information
Technology Management and Club Operations. He brings
over 16 years of knowledge in resort business system
management and supporting infrastructure for new
developments. He gained a club operation perspective as
Vice President of Information Technology for the Cordillera
Group, a privately owned real estate developer of
exclusive residential and golf resort communities in
Colorado and California.
Pyke has been intricately involved in the planning
and implementation of club processes and functionality,
new facility startups, utility infrastructure, and building
wireless mesh technology for club properties. Pyke has
also been directly involved in accounting system
architecture and transaction flow where he has
successfully integrated multiple systems allowing
financial reporting for multiple entity relationships.
Pyke has a strong understanding of operations and
systems for food and beverage, golf shop retail, tee time
scheduling, inventory control, asset management and
property management.
Pyke is President of Integrated Technology, a full service
information technology-consulting group. He is currently
consulting for golf course real estate developers
throughout Colorado.
Pyke has a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from the
University of Colorado, Boulder.
