February.05.2015 Pep Rally 2015 The bleachers were crowded with students as this year's Pep Rally was just about to begin. Following a performance by the remarkably talented “The Nameless”, a band that surprised us during P.A.N, with pianist Sara Beiruti, guitarist Rabih Madi, drummer Fahd Merai’s, saxophonist Sammy Said, as well as the beautiful voices of Abeer Sadek and Sindus Abdulrahman, the two football teams played an excellent match. Both teams tested their endurance and perseverance while maintaining a strong sense of sportsmanship and fair play. After the teachers scored two goals, Ali Baydoun managed to score one point for the Senior team before halftime. As the teams rested at the 45 minute mark, the Senior cheerleaders projected the Seniors’ support for their football team through a perfectly executed dance performance. Near the end of the match, the teachers scored a goal and Ali Baydoun once again retaliated with another point, leaving the final score as 3-2 for the teachers. This victory for the teachers, however, did not undermine the Seniors’ festive spirit as one Senior proclaimed, “You didn’t only win the game; you also won our hearts."
