May 8th is National Teacher Appreciation Day! Show Your Appreciation with a Thank-A-Teacher Card Provided by the Peoria Education Foundation

You can say “thank you” to a teacher — or any Peoria Unified staff member: secretary, principal, nurse, coach, bus driver, counselor, crossing guard, cafeteria staff, custodian — who has made your child’s year special — with a personalized card. There is a $5 minimum donation per “thank you” card, with one recipient for each card. You can place your order

at www.peoriaedfoundation using the online order form. Elementary schools will also distribute order form flyers to students this month. Additional order forms are available at the District Administration Center, 6330 W. Thunderbird Road. The Peoria Education Foundation will personalize a card for each teacher or staff member you have selected and deliver to

them at their school or site during National Teacher Appreciation Week, May 7-11.

Thank-A-Teacher is a fundraiser for the Peoria Education Foundation

which provides grants to Peoria Unified teachers and scholarships to students.
