From the Pastor:
My dear friends in Christ,
Pentecost will not be about an arrival on the 50th day of Easter, but rather the journey toward it and beyond. Anxiety, separation, questions about our future as a society, have consumed our days. We grieve our losses—people, jobs, ceremonies, community and Mass. We long to return to our familiar way of life. And yet, this time of incredible pause has brought with it transformative opportunities of the liturgy at work in our lives– a deeper appreciation of the Eucharist and one another, startling awareness of what and who is broken, time to think, learn, listen and reconsider. That has been the Holy Spirit at work in our lives. Today we pray one of two obligatory sequences of the year—a hymn, sometimes referred to as the “Golden Sequence.” Whatever form our song takes, may we experience the Holy Spirit’s protection, healing, and transformational power in our lives.
We are awaiting word for when we can re-open our Church for Mass. We are looking at how we can livestream Mass from our own Church. I am grateful to Father Dan Gowen for allowing us to participate in his livestream Mass from Jesus the Good Shepherd Parish as we continue to work together in Cohort #1. I have received an inquiry regarding an outdoor Mass. This would require much planning and volunteer help. We would also have to account for weather conditions. I thank you for your generosity in continuing to send in your donations and envelopes.
May God bless you all,
Father John
AN ACT OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
MASS RESERVATIONS / SANCTUARY LAMP Although our Parish Office is closed, due to state and diocesan guidelines on social distancing, you may always make reservations for a Mass or for the Sanctuary Lamp (there are many available for both) by calling the Rectory Office at 609.877.5322. We will be happy to assist you.

Please visit Jesus the Good Shepherd website or follow the link on our website, www.ccnj.church. And don’t forget Father John’s reflection each and every week.
Please pray for the dear souls of our parishioners listed here. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.

Welcome Back to Corpus Christi Church For Private Prayer What a blessing that our Bishop has granted permission to welcome our parishioners back in Church, although on a limited basis, for private prayer. You may visit Mondays through Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon for private prayer and meditation. We can welcome only 10 people at a time in Church. Everyone over 2 years old must wear a face mask while praying in Church. The ramp door across from the ball field is the only entrance to be used. Social Distancing of 6 feet is to be maintained. Please sit at the designated spots in the pew. Only the first two pews across the Church are open. Public rest rooms are CLOSED. No gatherings at the entrance or in the parking lot. Your courtesy in following these directives will allow other parishioners the opportunity to spend prayerful time in Church.
