All Religious Education classes have been cancelled for the rest of the year. The Summer Intensive dates have not been determined just yet. We would like to Thank all the Catechist who have helped with our weekly and monthly programs, hope to see you all next year.

We will be postponing our First Holy Eucharist Masses for both weekends of May 2 and 3rd, and May and May 9th and 10th. This decision was made as you are aware we are still under State Quarantine orders.

We will notify you with new dates upon the State lifting restrictions on our churches. Please reinforce your child's involvement in religious instruction by joining us every Sunday at 11 AM for Mass on our Face Book page "Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish".

Dear Friends, Peace and all good! Today we celebrate Pentecost, a great fes8val in our Church! The outpouring of the Holy Spirit that came upon the early Church con8nues today. As we move through this week, may we be especially mindful of the Holy Spirit’s presence with and among us. During this COVID-19 days, let us help our children and grandchil-dren know the peace that the Spirit brings. May we do what we can to bring peace to our world, to our coun-try, to our community, to our parish, to our school, and to our family. These are difficult days, yet the Holy Spir-it, our Advocate, is with us on our journey.

Our students are con8nuing with remote learning! This week some of their learning included presen8ng de-bates in 7th Grade Language Arts; going on a virtual field trip to Disney World in 5th Grade; con8nuing with Char-loUe’s Web in 3rd Grade; learning the leUer E and the number 19 in PreK 4; and Forms of Energy in 8th Grade Science. I con8nue to be extremely grateful to our teachers for all that they are doing to con8nue our cur-riculum during these challenging days!

We have planned several events to celebrate and honor our 8th Graders. Our Awards Ceremony will take place via Zoom on Thursday, June 4. Mass and Gradua8on will take place via livestream on our Facebook channel on Saturday, June 6 at 9:00 AM. We are also in the process of planning a drive-through diploma pick-up. While this is not what we desired for our graduates, we have been hard at work crea8ng experiences for them that cele-brate their 8me as ARCS students. Many of our teach-ers and families have sponsored our 8th Graders and have delivered packages to their homes. It has been a source of great joy to see the faces or our graduates and their sponsors! Let us hold our graduates in our prayer as they finish their days at ARCS and move on to their high school years! God is certainly with them on their journey!

Lord Jesus, you heal the sick. We pray that the coronavirus that has affected affected so many in our world can be contained, controlled, and cured. We lift up to your mercy all those affect-ed, all those working hard to study and cure this illness, and all health care pro-fessionals and emergency management teams that are working day and night to keep us safe. Help us, Lord, to trust in your merciful care. Lord Jesus, hear our prayer.
