Opening Prayer:All that God has created and sustains, all the events he guides, and all human works that are good and have a good purpose, prompt those who believe to praise and bless the Lord with hearts and voices. He is the source and origin of every blessing. By this celebration we proclaim our belief that all things work together for the good of those who fear and love God. We are sure that in all things we must seek the help of God, so that in complete reliance on his will we may in Christ do everything for his glory.Amen.
First Glorious Mystery: The Resurrection – Don SextroA reading from the Gosple of Matthew
After the sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning, MaryMagdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake: for an angel of the Lord descended fromheaven, approached, rolled back the stone and sat upon it. Hisappearance was like lightning and his clothing was white as snow. Theguards were shaken with fear of him and became like dead men. Thenthe angel said to the women in reply, “Do not be afraid! I know that youare seeking Jesus the crucified. He is not here, for he has been raised justas he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tellhis disciples, ‘He has been raised from the dead, and he is going beforeyou to Galilee; there you will see him.’ Behold, I have told you.” Thenthey went away quickly, from the tomb, fearful yet overjoyed, and ran toannounce this to his disciples.

the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven,
especially those in most need of thy mercy.
Amen.
Second Glorious Mystery: Ascension Into Heaven – Josie ArredondoA reading from the Acts of the Apostles
When they had gathered together they asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” He answered them, “It is not for you to know the times or seasons that the Father has established by his own authority. But you will receive power when the holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”When he had said this, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him from their sight. While they were looking intently at the sky as he was going, suddenly two men dressed in white garments stood before them. They said, “Men of Galilee, why are you standing there looking at the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will return in the same way as you have seen him going into heaven.”

Third Glorious Mystery: Descent of the Holy Spirit – Mary Gwynne
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles
When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together. And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were. Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them. And they were all filled with the holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim.
