The hotel features an award winning rooftop pool and jacuzzi with cityscape views. The Problem: The Peninsula’s pool and jacuzzi were experiencing leaks in the piping system. The pipes ran through multiple floors from the mezzanine to the roof. The leaks were causing water damage to the rooms in the hotel, causing lost occupancy due to attempts to repair the leaks. The Solution: ePIPE “in-place” pipe restoration with minimal disruption to the hotel and its guests. The patented ePIPE process was used to restore the piping system and prevent future corrosion and leaks. The ePIPE team lined hundreds of feet of 2½” - 3” pipes feeding the pool and jacuzzi in just a few days time. Traditional repair methods would have been noisy, messy and require closing an entire floor of the hotel during the course of the repairs. Using ePIPE restoration, only two rooms were closed during the repairs and the hotel was back to 100% occupancy in a matter of days.
