What is Scientific Notation?In science, we often find ourselves needing to use very large or very small numbers, which can bedifficult to read and write. For example, tthere may be 10000000000 neurons in a human brain, andthe length of a cell may be 0.000001m - ugly, right? So, to make things easier, we use scientificnotation so a reader can quickly understand just how big or small the number is... without countingall those zeroes!
