Sensible failure detection in drive system for safety reasons

REMEDIAL ACTION:

Please check the following points:

Load:

Was there bulky load in the drum or was the machine overloaded ?

Drive system:

Please check the tacho generator (resistance and cable).

Please guarantee a proper and tight seat of the belt on drive shaft and pulley.

Please check the electrical connections between controls and motor.

TITLE: Drum up function not working.

ISSUE:

We have some claims related to toploaders with drum up function not working. That means, atthe end of cycle the drum stops with drum door in wrong position.Reason is a software bug in the control unit.In production the problem is solved since week 12 / 2008, means serial number of machines from340812xxxxxx onwards.

REMEDIAL ACTION:

In case of such a claim, the control board needs to be reprogrammed by SAM module with thedatabase DB-2062.
