1. THE COMPANY DESCRIPTION

A. Fields of activity

The company is a civil engineering firm working in Haifa Israel since 1977.

The firm mainly deals with the construction design of building projects for the

industrial, public and private sectors. Till today over 5000 projects have been

carried out in various orders of size all over the country and abroad.

B. Company’s personnel

The firm employs more than 50 civil engineers, administration and assistance

personnel.

The firm is well known for its employment of the finest of the Technion's

(Israel Institute of Technology) graduates and post graduates (second

and third degree).

The chief executive engineer Pe'er Moshe with his long-lasting experience and expertise is personally involved in the constructional design of every project and is in direct contact with the clients.

Most of the other civil engineers have extensive work experience of many years.

C. Computerized instrumentation

Our computers are connected using Microsoft network.

All workstations are equipped with the most advanced software: AutoCAD 2017

for drawing, Revit Structure 2017 for project modeling. EXCEL for general

calculations, ATIR, STRAP, MATHEMATICAL SPREADSHEET,

STAAD PRO and ANSYS for structural design. Geostru MDC, Spw & slope for

cantilever walls, sheet pile walls, anchors walls and mechanically reinforced earth.

Our firm is the only civil engineering firm in Israel that uses STAAD and ANSYS,

which are the leading software for designing structures with finite element analysis.

These software programs enable us to conduct global linear/non linear, and local

buckling analysis, dynamic analysis for restraining structural vibrations, as well as

regular static analysis. ANSYS is considered the most advanced tool for finite

element analysis for structures, machinery, magnetism etc. It is widely used in the

fields of mechanical engineering, aeronautics, electronics etc.

Using ANSYS we can perform non-linear analysis, and make geometrical models

of complicated non-linear structures composed of linear/non linear materials, and

components such as beams, shells, membranes and solids. These characteristics do

not exist in any other program used in the Israeli civil engineering market.

Above all, ANSYS is known as one of the most reliable programs in it’s field, with

over 9000 tests and experiments conducted for each version in order to detect faults

and increase it’s reliability.

We use ANSYS as a tool for analyzing complex structures and loading that other

programs cannot deal with.

D. The office

The office is located in downtown Haifa in a building with an area of 500 m².

Electric Facilities:

Alon Tavor 70 megawatt Gas turbine power plant, Ramat Gavriel 70 megawatt Gas

turbine power plant.

Combined cycle power plants and switching stations for: the Desalination plant in Sorek –

largest of its kind in the word, Nesher cement factory in Ramle, in Kfar Uria for the Israel

Water Company and Fertilizers and Chemicals LTD, all steel components for cycle power

plant in the desalination plant Ashdod. We are also recognized by Siemens Israel.

Infrastructure

Sorek – a 150,000,000 m3 desalination plant in Sorek the largest of its kind in the world,

Shapir – Highway 22. Highway 6 – section 7, Highway 20 – for Ashtrom.

4. WAY OF THINKING IN THE COMPANY:

Pe`er Moshe engineering company is known for providing unique and innovated

solutions for design and construction problems in efficient and money saving ways.

Throughout 37 working years we provided design modification all over Israel.

For example:

1. In 1998 the shell structure - the International Congress Center in Haifa was

completed. It was the most complex construction work ever performed in Israel.

In the design we saved 2,300,000 $ of the original roof design done by others.

2. In 1995 the Nesher Ramle concrete dome with a 107 m diameter and with a

thickness of 22 cm was completed. In this design we saved 1,900,000$ from the

original steel structural design provided by others – the biggest pure dome in the

world.

3. In 2009 a three story structure (200 by 33 m) for paper production in "Hadera

Paper" was completed.

In this project we saved 4 M $ in comparison to the original design provided by

others.
