Academic Cracow means over 650 years of university traditions, 22 universities and colleges, almost 200,000 students, outstanding staff and unusual courses – there are reasons to be proud.

Cracow is a classic example of a university centre with traditions. It is here that the oldest Polish university is located, and student make up nearly a quarter of the city’s population.

Prestige and age-long history, not to mention the attractions of the city itself, attract young people from all over Poland and abroad.

The Pedagogical University closely cooperates with the sphere of business and industry. The effects of strengthening these relations include: development of new courses and specialisations taking account

of the needs of the dynamically developing labour market contracts with representatives of the sector of industry and

services collaboration with HR departments of the largest enterprises

and building a job database dedicated to students and graduates of the Pedagogical University

meetings and trainings with representatives of industry and business, providing a forum for exchanging knowledge, opinions and views.

Students of the Pedagogical University are provided with opportunities to complete placements or part of the study course abroad, mainly within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme or under bilateral agreements between universities. At present, our university collaborates with almost 300 universities around the world.

THE SPORTS AND RECREATION CENTRE

enables students of the Pedagogical University to take advantage of a large number of physical culture and sports activities:/ Body Shape aerobics / aerobic TBC / aqua aerobics / badminton / yoga / basketball /bodybuilding / Latino dance / skiing / Nordic walking / Pilates / football / volleyball /swimming / rollerblading + strength sports / table tennis / tennis / bicycle touring / hiking / kayaking / floorball.

At the students’ disposal there is a modern sports hall with an indoor swimming pool, sauna, power gym and wellness centre.

WE PROVIDE SUPPORT

At the Office for Disabled People you can receive help with issues pertaining to disability and accommodation as well as information on how to seek financial support offered by the Pedagogical University and by external institutions. The Office also facilitates participation in attractive projects, workshops and meetings aimed at improving professional qualifications.

The process of planning and accomplishing students’ and graduates’ careers is actively supported by the Academic Career Office. The Office not only provides access to job offers, placements and practical trainings but also offers career counselling. It also organises workshops and trainings developing the skills that are necessary to effectively move around the labour market and improve interpersonal skills.
