While Pearl Waterless products are very efficient and easy to use, they still need to be used correctly in order to receive the best results possible. We always try to educate our customers on the best practices for using our products, but we still receive regular emails from customers wanting to know more. So we thought it would be a good idea to make a list of some of the top tips to help you get the most out of your Pearl Waterless Products today.

1. Make sure there is no excess debris on your car before washing.

This is the most important part of the whole waterless car wash procedure. While it is called the waterless car wash, there may still be times where you might want to use a bit of water. If there is still excess dirt or other debris on your car, you may damage it by starting the waterless wash before removing the excess debris. The friction of your micro fiber towel against the debris will scratch and ruin the surface of your car – definitely not what you want when the whole point of the waterless car wash is to get your car clean and shiny. If you have excess debris on your car, give it a quick spray down first to remove them and then resume the waterless car wash like normal.

2. Always use a micro fiber towelThis is extremely important, but don’t worry – we stock micro fiber towels in our store and they are not expensive. The difference between a micro fiber towel and a regular towel are immediately apparent – the fibers that make up the towel are much smaller than on a regular towel. With a regular towel you run the risk of putting very small imperfections into your car’s surface. Maybe these imperfections won’t be noticeable from just one wash, but after continued washes with a regular towel, the imperfections will definitely start to present themselves to the naked eye.

3. Apply the waterless solution to both the car’s surface and your micro fiber towelThis is one that often gets overlooked, even by people who have been using our products for years. Too many people believe it is alright to apply the solution just to their micro fiber towel and then begin washing. While very minimal, this still creates a small amount of friction on your car’s surface which you obviously don’t want. To reduce the amount of friction, make sure you also apply the solution to the car’s surface before beginning to wipe. You should be able to feel the micro fiber moving smoothly over the surface of the car with no resistance whatsoever – this is how you know you are doing it right.

4. Have fun while washingThis is probably the most important one in our opinion. Our products are meant to bring joy into your life, not to feel like a chore to use. Make sure when you are using Pearl Waterless products to wash your car, that you make a point to actually enjoy the time spent using them. You can do this by inviting friends over to wash with you or washing early in the morning so you get to see that excellent shine just as the sun is rising. Whatever you do, just remember to make sure it is an enjoyable experience.
