kingdom quest & kid’s club connections Come join us Sunday mornings for Kingdom Quest! Here is what we are studying: 2-3 year olds – Moses, 4-5 year olds – God is there in tough times, 1st -4th grade – God is our rescuer, 5th -6th grade – Prayer walk mall. See you Sunday mornings at 9:15a! Connections: Last Weds. the kids read Psalm 139:1-18 and learned a lesson about how God is our Creator. They learned through David that God made us wonderfully complex and sees everything we do: He created each of us for a specific purpose! The point of the lesson is to show that God is our Creator so we live out our purpose. We will be thinking about what we believe our purpose from God is, and why He chose us to fill that role. Next Wednesday, 10/30, we will be covering Daniel 1. Daniel and his friends are working in the king's palace while in exile, and God gives them wisdom to handle a tough situation that doesn't go according to plan. The moral of the story is that God is wise, therefore we make wise choices. These are great lessons for the kids! We have a meal every Weds. @ 5:20p and classes begin at 6p. See you there!

Christmas Worship Coming: The 1st-8th grade kids of Peace will be leading the Children’s Christmas Worship at the 10:30a service on

December 8. Practices will begin on November 3rd from 12-2pm (lunch will be provided each practice) continuing every Sunday

through December 1, with the final dress rehearsal on December 7th 9am- 12pm. Contact Krista Kammerlohr or Rachel Hughes

with any questions. The 2-5 year old kids will learn a song and poem during their normal Sunday School time to perform at the beginning

Exciting News: We w ill be opening another Toddler Room for MWF students! God has blessed the ELC w ith an abundance of students on the waitlist and we are excited to make room for these new families! There are a few spots left, so contact Andie if you are interested in a spot! Toddlers must be 12 months old and walking (by January).

Lauren Kreider teaches in the Sunset Room w ith the 4s. She is married to her husband Matt and they have a daughter, El-eanor, who is 1 and in the River Room! Lauren has been teaching for 7 years and loves being around her students and watching them grow. Her favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 9:1-7 about being Light in the darkness. When she is not teaching, she enjoys hiking, traveling, reading and spending time with her family.

Library Our worship covers a wide perspective this Sunday as at our early service we commemorate the Reformation, the beginning of the Lutheran church we know today, and at the late service is Confirmation, which is vitally important to the young members of this year's class. Our library has about 58 books on Martin Luther for adults, so you may wish to refresh your knowledge of this great leader of the Reformation. There are three children's books -The Adventures of Martin Luther, by Page; Little Martin Luther, by Hummel, and Martin Luther, a Man Who changed the World, by Maier. We also have DVDs for your viewing. Ask our librarians or assistants for help in locating any of these Reformation items. We still have Confirmation items for sale! Come on in today and check us out!!
