• Which is the real power? Is it to increase prosperity or bring about peace? That which results in peace is the highest perfection.

• Real peace is happiness.• If one gains the Peace of the Self it will spread itself

without any effort on the part of the individual. When one is not oneself peaceful, how can that one spread peace in the world?

• If you want peace, my child, see nobody's faults. See your own faults. Learn to make the world your own. No one is a stranger, my child; the whole world is your own.

• Perhaps his interest in peace was also due to the use of his inventions in warfare and assassination attempts? Peace was the fifth and final prize area that Nobel mentioned in his will.

• “The said interest shall be divided into five equal parts, which shall be apportioned as follows: /- - -/ one part to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses.”
