the lead-in sentence)– Discuss merit criteria, curves, weights, one at a

• Test Plan and Results– What happened at the competition?– For K’nex project this will be more involved…stay

• References/Appendices (NP)– Appendices are extra. Paper shouldn’t need them.

• What about figures?– Use template in Word– Figures have titles (Figure 13. descriptive words)– Place fig in doc after first mention in text. “The first

design we considered was the Howe truss (Fig. 7)”• Same for tables

• This is not a trivial undertaking– It will take time– Don’t start the night before it’s due, or the night
