PDMP Support Team Changes and New Members
• Scott Weinstein, JD– Thanks for all of his support and guidance he has given - Scott is leaving ONC and this project for a new role in the private sector.
• Helen Canton-Peters will function as one of the ONC leads with expertise in clinical workflow, privacy and security policy and law.
• Sherry L. Green, CEO - National Alliance for Model State Drug Laws (NAMSDL).– PDMP Subject Matter Expert and Initiative Co–
Coordinator along with Johnathan Coleman.

• Yes with Comment – Many comments highlighted a concern regarding
PDMP Participation• Sherry is helping us spearhead the outreach we are doing with this
community to encourage participation– Outreach to the Alliance of States
» Made up of 43 PDMP Administrators
– Few comments on wording/context changes• As we progress through Use Cases and the Harmonization
phase we will continue to provide more clarification– As part of the initiative process we will fine tune the project charter to
reflect the work of all phases of the initiative - this is part of an iterative process and part of the work to ensure consistency between all steps in the process

• Creates a collaborative, coordinated, incremental standards process.
• Is guided by the ONC (with input from Federal Advisory Committees).
• Is enabled and led by the an open community of industry participants who are interested in solving real-world problems.
Each S&I Initiative focuses on narrowly-defined, broadly applicable challenge, tackled through a rigorous development cycle, and provides input to Federal Advisory Committees for consideration.
