B. How To Reach UPTTI Kanpur :

In case you are arriving Kanpur by train, please ensure from boarding station that whether your

train will be permitted to pass through Kanpur Central Station or not. If your train is going to pass

through the Kanpur Central Station then please make convenient to alight on Kanpur Central

Station. Please exit from City side (i.e Platform No. 8-9 side) and hire a Rickshaw or Auto for Textile

Institute at Souterganj, Parwati Bagla Road, In front of Elgin Mill No 1. Rickshaw may charge around

Rs. 40-50/- and auto may charge around Rs. 100-130/-.

If you are arriving Kanpur by U.P. Roadways Bus service please get down at Jhakarkati Bus Station /

Tat Mill Chauraha and hire auto for Textile Institute at Souterganj, Parwati Bagla Road, In front of

Elgin Mill No 1. Approx. auto fare is Rs. 100–130/-.

In case you are traveling by car then please reach at Souterganj, Parwati Bagla Road, In front of Elgin

Mill No 1, and enter Main Gate of U. P. Textile Technology Institute.

C. PROCEDURE OF REGISTRATION

1. All new entrants will have to report sharp as per the schedule given above, at the venue

specified for their respective branches.

2. At registration venue they will have to collect the registration form (if not carrying with them)

and to fill it. (Students are advised to download the Admission Form and Hostel Application

and get it filled completely before coming to the institute, in order to avoid any

inconvenience). Students will also be provided the fee deposit slip to deposit the fee in bank, if

they are not carrying the Demand Draft.

3. Fee as applicable (for concession and fee waiver scheme please refer the relevant clause) is to be

brought in the form of demand draft in favour of Director, UPTTI, Kanpur payable at Kanpur.

Alternatively fee may be deposited in cash which has to be deposited in Institute account at

State Bank of India, Gwaltoli Branch, Kanpur after getting fee deposition slip for us.

4. After fee deposition student will report at the department counter (registration counter) where

he will submit duly filled Admission Form along with the Bank Draft (or Institute’s Copy of Pay in

Slip) and all the documents mentioned at S. Nos. 1 to 14 of point ‘A’ above.. After verification of

the documents the registration process will be completed by the authorities present there and

Registration Card/ Identity Card will be issued to the student.

5. After registration student will have to submit his/her Hostel Allotment Application (candidates

belonging to outside Kanpur District are eligible for Hostel) along with details of student

registration no. to the warden/staff of Dean, Student Welfare, present at the venue of

registration on the same day as per schedule. Remaining formalities of Hostel allotment will be

complete by the respective Wardens

State Government has a policy to permit the admission of students having annual parental

income less than, Rs. 2.00 Lacs for SC/ST/OBC/GEN/Minority category students to be registered

with rebate in tuition fee or without fee as per condition given hereunder:

In case the reimbursed fee is transferred to the

student’s account directly, the fee to be

As per Government Order the amount of scholarship will be transferred

directly to the respective A/c of the eligible students. Hence all the students

of other than SC/ST category have to deposit total balance fee at the time of

registration.**

General Category Student

Minority Student

All those who are interested to avail the benefit of aforesaid U.P. Govt. policy will have to

download the prescribed form put on Annexure-5 to this notification and have to bring it with

original Income Certificate of Parent/Guardian (if parent not alive) issued by competent Revenue

Authority and all documents as indicated in Annexure-4. All those candidates whose

Parent/Guardian (if parent not alive) are employed will have to produce their parents’ income

certificate issued by their employer in addition to the income certificate of revenue authority for

current year. The candidate should ensure before registration that the Income certificate issued by

the competent authority is uploaded on the website www.upbor.nic.in and they should bring a

printout of the same along with the Income certificate. Beside the candidate will have to submit a

notarized affidavit sweared by his/her Parent / Guardian (if parent not alive) to the affect that how

many children they have and out of it how many are beneficiary of this scheme.

F. Hostel Availability and Allotment:

Institute has limited hostel facility and therefore cannot be made available to all the newly admitted

students. In view of shortage of hostel, the student belonging to Kanpur district are not eligible for

allotment of hostel as a matter of policy.

G. Certificates needed by Candidates for Educational Loan

Candidate selected for admission to this Institute through UPSEE 2013 and interested to borrow an

educational loan from the bank may download the relevant Fee Certificate placed at annexure 6-8

to this information
