Betty from USAI notice that there are Pughs from Clyro mentioned. Mygreat-great grandfather was born in Clyro (Thomas Pugh),but that would have been around l821. He married Elizabeth?? They lived in the "field houses", so I guess they werepretty poor. They had sons, Gomer (my great grandfather, who migrated to Pennsylvania in the states) Arthur, Moses,William and I believe a few more, maybe a Joseph. I knowthat's a long, long time ago, but just wondering if there is aconnection. I guess Pugh is a very common name in Wales,so probably a long shot. Anyway, if there is any info it wouldbe appreciated. We were in Wales a few years ago and Iwanted to see so much more, but we were on tour and ofcourse, they couldn't cater to my needs. We were in thetown of LLangolan. I loved it.Fri Dec 14 12:24:25 2007
