The reservoir design

sandwiches an anatomically

shaped molded plastic sheet

between a layer of breathable

nylon mesh fabric and the

reservoir back. This enables

the reservoir to conform to

the back’s complex shape,

even when full. The result is

a more precise, stable and

comfortable t. Additionally,

the reservoir has a rigid

handle/spine that stabilizes

the load of the water while

also serving as a more

convenient design to slide

the reservoir into the pack.

The HydraLock™ internal compression compartment provides

a dedicated space for the reservoir so that cargo volume

is not affected by a full reservoir. It effectively squeezes

the reservoir, supplying hydraulic pressure to increase

the ow and minimize water motion. It also provides

a perfect anchor point for

the vertical spine of the

reservoir, preventing lateral

instability and locking the

water load into the overall

pack structure. The reservoir

is further compressed at the

top end with load lifter

straps. This keeps the pack

stabilized during recurring

and unexpected motion.

Note: Removing air from thereservoir after filling with waterwill help prevent excess slosh. Todo this, hold reservoir upside down,pinch the bite valve and squeeze thereservoir until all air is expelled.

To clean your Osprey HydraForm™ Reservoir we

recommend the following in conjunction with

Osprey’s HydraFormTM Reservoir Cleaning Kit

containing a reservoir cleaning brush, delivery

system cleaning brush and a convenient

drying rack:

• Remove the HydraForm™ reservoir from theHydraLock™ compartment prior to cleaning.

• Soak in warm, soapy water. Scrub reservoir thoroughly withcleaning brush. Rinse and hang to dry thoroughly using dryingrack.• Incorporating the use of Nalgene® Hydration System and

Bottle Cleaning Tablets on a regular basis i n conjunction withyour cleaning kit can be quite useful as well.. For moreinformation or to purchase from Nalgene, go towww.nalgene-outdoor.com/store/detail.aspx?ID=1044

• Leave the cap off for drying and during storage.

To clean your Osprey HydraForm™ water delivery hose:• Grasp bite valve in one hand and delivery hose in

the other.• Firmly pull bite valve to remove from delivery hose.• Scrub deliver hose with the delivery system cleaning

brush, mild soap and water.• Rinse, re-install bite valve and Just Add WaterTM

compression straps locate

the duckbill buckle A at the

top and side of the stretch

woven pocket and unthread

the webbing. B Thread the

webbing over the side pocket

or through the slot underneath

the side pocket as desired and

re-thread through the duckbill

buckle to tension.

LidLck ™ lm Clip

Every Raptor Series pack features a LidLock ™ helmet clip

with elasticized load control system providing quick and

secure helmet carry. To use A Locate LidLock™ clip near the

top of the pack’s front panel and pull away from the pack.

B In the vertical position, pass LidLock ™ through helmet

vent from the bottom and engage in horizontal position.

On the right outside panel of the pack nd a cord loop to

increase or decrease tension. Reverse to remove helmet.
