Tax Assistant, Iglesia Católica de la Ascensión 2014 The goal of this program was to assist low­income individuals with poor English skills who needed help

preparing tax returns. William was able to use this opportunity to learn about the challenges in the Hispanic community and to hone his own skills regarding tax preparation.

September of Service Volunteer, Christian Brothers University 2012­Present The goal of this program was to provide the Lasallian style of service, representative of CBU, to the greater

Memphis community. William participated in community­wide service initiatives in order to serve Memphis nonprofit organizations such as the Lichterman Nature Center, The Harwood Center, Shelby Farms, McKellar Lake, and De Lasalle Elementary School.

Marketing Volunteer, Salvation Army Kroc Center 2013 The goal of this position was to increase awareness and generate interest in the theatre program of the RJ

Kroc Center. William assisted in the marketing (advertising) of theatrical productions which were then in turn used to generate capital to help support the philanthropic efforts of the organization.

Hole Marshall, Fedex­St. Jude Golf Classic 2013­Present The goal of this annual event is to provide financial support for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. William served as a Hole Marshall to assist in crowd control and general guide to spectators at the golf Tournament. William was also able to serve in other capacities with other golf & 5k­race events leading up to the tournament, where he was able to better his skills in communication and networking.
