Features

Clean air for the operatorThe ventilation system allows all recirculated air to pass

through the main filter. This allows for quick heating orcooling of the cab. There is a pre-filter and a main filter.Fresh air always passes through both filters, providing thecleanest operator environment in the industry.

Windows with gas struts

The side window is kept open by gas struts and can belocked, if needed, in the open position at an angle of 10degrees.

Volvo axles

Volvo axles feature outboard mounted wet disc brakes withinternal oil circulation cooling and fully floating axle shafts.Front axle differential lock with 100% lock-up and limitedslip on the rear axle are optional.

TP-linkage

Unique patented linkage system combines parallel lift actionwith high breakout torque throughout the whole liftingcycle in addition to optimal visibility around theattachment.

Features

VisibilityVolvos visibility-optimized attachment bracket andattachments facilitate swifter tool changes, while offering

the best possible visibility around the attachment.

Center hinge

The center hinge, with widely spaced upper and lowerhinge bearings, is designed to withstand considerablehorizontal and vertical stresses. Wide spacing of the upperand lower hinge bearings spreads forces over a greater areafor longer life. The bearings are also effectively sealedagainst dust and dirt.

Ladder

The cab entry ladder is angled 15 degrees and has stepsmade of perforated, anti-slip sheet metal. The steps arelocated directly in front of the door. Sturdy handrails and awide door frame with a 93 degree opening angle make itsafe and easy to enter and exit the cab.

Brakes

Fully-sealed dual-circuit, wet disc brakes are designed toprovide effective braking and long disc life. Brake systemreliability is high since the system is divided in two circuits,and reliable secondary braking capacity is ensured bypre-charged nitrogen accumulators, which are automaticallycharged.

Features

Comfort Drive Control (CDC)*Operator fatigue is reduced with the CDC lever steeringsystem, which allows you to steer and shift with easilyoperated controls mounted on the left armrest. Theoperator can switch to the steering wheel at any time.

Contronic

The Contronic monitoring system keeps an eye on all vitalmachine systems and functions to warn of potentialproblems or faults before its too late to correct them. Theinformation is shown on the display screen located on theinstrument panel. Normally , the display shows enginespeed, travel speed, time, temperature and engaged gear.

Operator seat

The operator seat has several adjustment possibilities.Suspension and damping are adjustable to body weight, andboth the seat cushion and back rest can be set at variousangles. The lumbar support can also be adjusted to suit eachoperator.

Visible instruments

The cab has instruments that are easy to read andergonomically-located operational controls. All importantinstrumentation and information is placed in the center of

the operators field of vision.

Features

Well-located controlsFrequently used operating controls are located in amulti-function lever on the right side of the steering wheel.Controls for heating, ventilation, and other operationalcontrols, are located to the right of the operator.

Fingertip hydraulic levers

Pilot-operated fingertip hydraulic levers provide easycontrol of the hydraulic functions. The adjustable hydrauliclever console also features a rocker switch forforward/reverse shifting and a 1st gear kickdown button.

Load-sensing steering

The system is only activated when the steering wheel isturned, resulting in small pumping losses and contributingto lower fuel consumption.

Care Cab

The cab is designed with large glass areas and thin cornerposts to provide the operator with excellent visibility in alldirections. The windshield is made of laminated safety glass,while the other windows are made of tempered safety glass.All windows are tinted to reduce glare and excess heatbuild-up on sunny days.

Load-sensing hydraulics

Silver Agreement

The Silver Agreement offers complete flexibility in the waythe agreement is put together with the option to alterdetails, including the budget, during the course of theagreement. It also allows you to spread the cost ofinspections, maintenance and even major repairs to reduce

the impact on cash flow. A provision for including major

specialist repairs that might be beyond your site engineers,such as driveline and engine.

Gold Agreement

The Gold Agreement is chosen to give a complete peace ofmind over the availability of your Volvo machine andremoves the need for any on-site engineering facility. Fixedcosts are guaranteed for the life of the agreement (excludingsite damage). An excellent machine history when it comes

Attachment

Material handling armMechanical, 3-Section Material Handling Arm has two

telescopic sections, which are manually adjustable to matchvarious load and reach requirements. This type of arm isespecially useful on construction sites for laying pipe,placing concrete dividers, or moving material quickly andprecisely. (Available for Models L50E to L220E)

Pallet fork

Pallet fork together with cast steel attachment bracket areoptimized for excellent visibility, giving the operator a clearview of the load being handled.Offset fork tines give the operator a clear view to the endsof the tines. These tines are especially useful when there isa high demand for precision, control and high productivity.(Available for Models L50E to L120E)

Spade nose rock bucket

Spade Nose Rock Bucket is the best choice for breaking outhard and stony material or blasted rock. It is mostcommonly fitted with teeth and segments, but when loadinggravel, crushed rock or ore, it can be fitted with bolt-onedge savers. (Available for Models L50E to L330E)

Straight edge rock bucket

Straight Edge Rock Bucket is good for removing easilybroken material from banks that require higher penetrationand breakout capacity. The straight edge gives better dumpheight and load retention than a Spade Nose Bucket. It canbe equipped with either bolt-on edge savers or teeth incombination with segments. General purpose bucket

General Purpose Straight Edge Bucket has an angled floorfor good penetration and excellent fill factors. It can beequipped with either bolt-on edge savers or teeth foreffective use in many different applications ormaterials.Recommended for loading sand, gravel or othermaterials from banks or stockpiles. (Available for ModelsL50E to L330E)

Grading bucket

Grading Bucket is designed with a long, smooth floor and ashort, straight edge on the back for fine grading work. Thisbucket is especially useful in earthmoving work, such as

topsoil stripping, small-scale dozing, landscaping, andleveling of fill. (Available for Models L50E to L90E)

Log grapples

Log Grapples to handle logs of varying lengths, transportlogs over uneven ground, sort different wood types andefficiently maintain the lumberyard.General Purpose Log Grapple is an all-round grapple usedfor handling and sorting tree length stems or for grippingsingle stems. Unloading Log Grapple has short, rounded

Block handling attachments

Block Forks are designed for lifting, stacking, andmaneuvering blocks in quarry operations.
