Really liked how the CQ sessions were

smaller classes with lots of help from

instructors. The pace was perfect.” “ Dynamic queries will open up more

reporting options to us. Great class.

Doug makes complicated topics easy

to follow and therefore easy to learn.” “

CYBERQUERY

CQ-101 The Basics of CQ

Get an introduction to CQ. We'll tour through

CQ and the different types of data in the

Agility database. We will explain what

elements should be considered when creating

a report. This class is intended for people with

no experience with CQ.

NOTE: There will be NO report writing in this

class.

CQ-201 Visual Editor: Graphs, Labels, and Letter

Writer

Learn to use the visual editor to write list,

sum, graph, and label reports. We’ll cover

graphs, inventory labels, mailing labels, and

the letter writer.

CQ-202 Formatting Reports

Learn to take an existing report and

summarize the data into a cleaner report

that’s easier for the recipient to read. We will

also demonstrate how to add formatting to

highlight red flags within the report on a

conditional basis.

CQ-301 File Relationships

Learn to create file relationships between two

tables. You’ll also learn to create hold files and

then use them in existing queries. We will

describe how tables are related to one

another in the Agility relational database, how

those files are indexed, and how CQ can

access those files that don't have natural

relationships.

CQ-302 Dynamic Queries

Learn to write very dynamic queries in Agility

and how to use the output of one report as

variables for a second report. (For example,

dynamically building a list of active sales

agents or branches to feed into the valid list

of options in a parameter prompt.) Attendees

will leave this class with a very advanced

understanding of CQ.

CQ-401 Optimizing Your Queries

Calling all CQ Experts. This class will focus on

creating and using CQ hold files, and ways to

make your queries perform better.

CQ-402 CQ One-On-One

Struggling with a particular report? Sit down

with a CQ expert as they answer your

questions and help you through the report. If

you sign up for this class, please provide the

report requirements prior to the conference.
