ARTARMON PUBLIC SCHOOL BUILDING FUND A school Building Fund is established to support the construction and/or maintenance of buildings. It is different to Voluntary Contributions and donations to the school, which aren’t tax deductible. Building Fund Donations can be tax deductible if they meet certain conditions. Our new sound and lighting system in the school hall being constructed meets these requirements.
Artarmon Public School has an existing Building Fund from 2010 which we will use again to help fund the hall equipment. This was presented to the Artarmon P&C Association at its last meeting and supported. Donations to the Building Fund are an OPTION for the school community. A donation for tax purposes needs to be more than $2. If you choose to donate in this way you will receive a receipt that will name the fund and its ABN and will identify your donation as a gift. The receipt will need to be kept and used to claim a tax deduction. To donate to the Artarmon Public School Building Fund you can: • Make a payment using our payment envelopes at the office
OR • use the Make a Payment link on our school website.
Please choose Payment Options, Other and in the description add School Building Fund.
Thank you for your support of our school. We look forward to the completion of our buildings and a new top of the line sound and lighting system for our hall. Louise Green and staff Artarmon Public School
