Listen to Bible readings daily through PBS‟ ‘Magandang Balita’ -

a radio program aired Monday to Sunday at 4:30 am over 702 DZAS.

We had our soft-launch last August 6, followed by refining, during the

course of the week. Do tune in and tell us what you think! We are open to

suggestions on how we can improve the program to better minister to Bi-

MOVING TO THE NEXT LEVEL!

The Inter-Church Consultative and Advisory Group (ICCAG) convened

once again last August 15. Volunteers and Representatives from different

churches and organizations attended the meeting to be a part of the Na-

tional Bible Week 2013 corps. These groups unite as one though coming

from different sectors and affiliations, all seeking to widen and expand the

impact of Bible ministry in our country through our annual celebration of

the Word of God. With next year‟s theme “Proclaim the Word, Profess the

Faith”, Bible believers from , these various groups discussed and deliber-

ated activities and upcoming events for the National Bible Week 2013.

This includes the much-awaited meaningful, ecumenical and historical run

in the country - the Bible Run 2013, on January 19, 2013 at the Quirino

Grandstand - seeking to bring together at least 10,000 individuals to run

for the Bible cause. This event serves as our kick-off celebration for the

National Bible Week which will run from January 21 to 25, 2013 and Na-

tional Bible Sunday on January 27, 2013.

The Principal Solution

Educators play a crucial role in molding young minds to become good citizens. This is the

firm belief of Davao del Sur private school principal Sis Florifes Bejod that spurred her to

take steps in influencing the values system of her faculty and staff. Acknowledging that

the Bible sets the time-honored guidelines for righteous and successful living, Sr. Florifes

organized regular Bible studies in her school, with the help of a team of May They Be One

staff. The Bible studies employed a “listen-read-share method “ where the participants

silently read Scripture passages from the May They Be One Bible while simultaneously

listening to the same passage being dramatized in an audio Bible called the Proclaimer

(distributed by the Faith Comes By Hearing apostolate). Afterwards, the participants share

their insights about the passages. The Bible study program is also being cascaded down by

chosen facilitators to the different school levels and sections with the goal that the faculty,

staff and students will have a good foundation based on God‟s Word.

If you obey the Lord your God and faithfully keep all His commands that I am giving

you today, He will make you greater than any other nation on earth. Deuteronomy 28:1
