– Responsible for overall demand management process, including the collection of demand information, creating and maintaining the demand reports and working with the engineering team to understand the requirements and ensures the efficiency of the process.
• Demand Analyst
– Support Demand Manager activities by collecting data, creating reports and support the needs of supporting groups
• Capacity Manager
– Responsible for overall capacity management process, including the translation of demand into infrastructure capacity requirements, creating and maintaining the capacity plan, approve unplanned capacity requires, provides input into service design and engineering and ensures the efficiency of the process.
• Capacity Analyst
– Create Short-term and Long-term Capacity plan, prepare and analyze capacity reports, supports the capacity manager as needed
• Capacity Operations
– Monitor and manage current capacity, run daily and weekly health reports, manage out of policy resources and supports incident, problem and change management processes

#PBO2595BE CONFIDENTIAL
Approach
• Phase 1
– Set Policies
– Build relationship with the business to understand their requirements (Demand)
– Train an analyst to be able to manage vROPs
– Create Dashboards to manage day to day operations
• Phase 2
– Create and implement the demand and capacity management processes
– Procure the Demand and Capacity Manager Roles
– Create the First Capacity Plan
– Continue to leverage vROPs for day to day operations and long term planning
• Phase 3
– Continual Improvement Management
