A big Giving Tree Thank you to all who participated this year. Our parish helped to brighten Christmas for seven families that had a total of 34 children. Only two gifts were not returned.
Help Decorate The Church for Christmas! Next Sunday, after the 9:00 AM Mass we need people to help put up the Christmas decorations for the Christmas Eve Masses later that day. Let’s continue with this family / parish tradition. The more help the quicker it will go. We would also like someone to water the poinsettias during the Christmas Season.
THIS SUNDAY, DECEMBER 17th we will cele-brate the Rite of Acceptance in RCIA. We will accept and welcome this year’s catechumens into our parish family. At this rite we will present them a cross to remind them that Jesus died for our sins and that we will be able to better accept the crosses in our life when we know that God is always with us. We will also present them with a Bible, the Word of God that sustains and guides us on this journey of life. The other thing that will sustain them and anyone else who decides to join RCIA is the example, love and prayers of St. Isidore’s family. Remember we all are responsi-ble for their journey.
This year please pray for Kim Sprague and Angela Soderberg.
