Friday, Oct. 28, we have replaced all business classes with various presentations throughout the day. Mark Harvill

Mark Harvill has worked in the bio-pharmaceutical research industry for nearly 25 years. Most recently he was Chief Operating Officer of Clinipace Worldwide, a global con-tract research organization based in Morrisville, North Carolina. Prior to Clinipace, he was Presi-dent and COO of Paragon Biomedical in Irvine, California, and Executive Vice President at i3/STATPROBE in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Over his tenure, Harvill has led teams of nearly 1,000 employees in North Ameri-ca, Latin/South America, Europe/Middle East, and Asia/Pacific Rim. Harvill’s expertise is rooted in business development, client relationships and project management though over the past decade has included broad-based global operations, merger and acquisition activity, managerial fi-nance, and market development. Mark holds a master’s degree in Journal-ism from Michigan State University and a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Oklahoma Christian. He and his wife, Ellie, have four children ages 13, 11, 9 and 6. They reside in Cary, North Carolina.

Scott Teague Scott Teague is the Commercial Banking Executive for U.S. Bank in the Arkansas region. He has more than 28 years bank-ing experience in Central Arkansas. He has served in various capacities including Management Trainee, Branch Manager, Manager of Direct Lending and Manager of Business Banking for Arkansas. Teague is a native of Mena, Arkansas. He received his undergraduate degree in Mar-keting from Harding University in 1988. In January 1995 he received a Master’s in Business Administration in Finance from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He has served on the North Little Rock Board of Education since 2005. He is also on the Harding University President’s Council, COBA Advisory Board, Arkansas State Chamber Board, and the Board of Arkan-sas Independent Colleges and Universities. Teague was a class XV Leadership Greater Little Rock graduate. He was recognized in 2005 in Arkansas Business as a “40 Under 40”. He serves as a deacon at the Sylvan Hills Church of Christ. He and his wife Jennifer have been married for 29 years and have three chil-dren: Leighton, Jantzen and Dawson.

David Bell

David Bell is an audit partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP. He has more than 20 years of experience serving pub-lic and private companies in a number of complex industries, including govern-ment contracting, technology and energy services. In addition to serving clients directly, Bell has served in Deloitte’s national office as an accounting consul-tation partner and its chief of staff. Bell graduated from Harding in 1992 with a B.B.A. in Accounting and is married to the former Carmen Newcomb, who graduated from Harding in 1993 with a B.A. in Human Resources. They have four daughters: Laney (15), Olivia (12), Annie (10) and Hazel (7). Since graduat-ing from Harding, the Bells have been very active in their local church families in Illinois, Connecticut and now northern Virginia, serving various needs in a variety of capacities. David also serves on the board of directors of the Friends of the National Zoo in Washington D.C.

Joe Shepard

Joe Shepard received a B.B.A. from Harding University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. Since Harding, his business career has included leadership positions in consulting, investment banking, ven-ture capital, private equity, and in-vestment fund management for such organizations as KPMG, Texas Pacif-ic Capital, Principal Financial Securi-ties, Banc One Capital Markets, and the U.S. Small Business Administra-tion. Currently, Shepard provides investment banking advisory services to select small businesses and private equity funds through his firm Archway Capital. He is a registered representative and holds Series 7, 63 and 79 securities registrations. He is active, with his wife and child, in church as well as in several athletic, community and school organizations.

Jeremy Bolls

As an entrepreneur and investor, Jeremy Bolls is defined by his core values. He firmly believes we build a better country through the creation of opportunities and jobs, allowing for self -empowerment. While he founded Kindful, his passion for the company runs deeper. As a CRM for nonprofits, Kindful pro-motes donor development, increased engagement, and ultimately increased revenues. He is devoted to the idea that, together, we can build a better world. For that reason, Bolls has opted to spend his career building companies focused on creating com-munity. A tried-and-true businessman, he works across function-al groups and industries to cob-ble together unique and practical yet technologically advanced solutions. He values his role as CEO of Kindful because he gets to work intimately with nonprof-its and share in the combined value of our experience to bring about success. Bolls is a 2005 alumni Harding University with a B.A. in Professional Sales.

Todd Smith Todd Smith is President and Founder of Thomas Wilson Group LLC. This company was started in 2004 to provide limited medical benefits to specific workers in the trucking industry. After contracting with multiple marketers the company has grown to operate in 13

states. Smith is also Chief Exec-utive Officer of CT Energy Holdings LLC. This company provides technology to Class 8 diesel engine industries to en-hance miles per gallon, engine performance and life exten-sion. Smith holds his Bachelor of Science degree from Lip-scomb University and attended Harvard Executive Business School in 2015. He was a guest lector in Lipscomb University’s MBA program in 2015.

Matt Summitt

Matt Summitt is the Senior Manager at JPMS Cox in Little Rock. He grad-uated summa cum laude from Harding University in 2006 with a B.B.A. in Accounting. He has been employed with JPMS Cox for the past 10 years. His professional con-centration has been in tax and valuation services with a focus on assisting closely held business and high net worth individuals with income tax planning, estate planning, entity formation and structuring and business valuation. In 2016 he was recognized in Arkansas Business as one of the “40 Under 40”. He is a also a member of Har-ding University’s President’s Council. Summitt was honored with the Arkansas Society of CPA’s Emerging CPA award in 2013. He is married to 2006 Harding graduate Lana, and they have two children, Shelby (3) and Sutton (1).

Ben Patterson

Ben Patterson began his insurance career in August 1996 after graduating from Harding University.. He holds both the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designations and is also a li-censed Risk Manager. He has served his local association, the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas, on their board of directors beginning in 2007 and finished as President of IIAD in 2014. Over the past several years, he has served on several insurance company national and local advisory councils and was also recognized in the 2013 Dallas Business Journal’s List of “40 Under 40”. He is President of Patterson & Associates Insurance Agency, who is an IIABA Best Practices Agency, which has also been recognized as a “Best Places to Work” in the Dallas Business Journal in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. He was also featured as a “Top Producer” in the March 2016 edi-tion of “Insurance Business America”. He has been married for 17 years and has three precious daughters.

Nathan Ingram

Nathan Ingram attended Har-ding University where he earned B.A. degrees in Psy-chology and Bible. Upon grad-uating Nathan took a job with the state of Tennessee and worked as a prison counselor, a CPS caseworker and a juvenile probation officer. During these years, Ingram earned his mas-ter's degree from Tennessee Technological University in Educational Psychology. Ingram moved to Texas to pursue a doctoral degree in Public Health and began his current work in the behavioral health field. He is the owner of Lone Star Behavioral Health. He operates Lone Star as the CEO and is the owner of Tranquility Ranch and Contender's Choice Batting Cages. Ingram is a published au-thor and his first book, Christ at the Coffee Shop, has had mul-tiple reprints and distributions. He donates his time as a speak-er for various community and charitable organizations and was a featured speaker for Harding University during the dedica-tion of their new business building. His next book, How to Keep Fear From Scaring You to Death, is based on his experi-ence while hunting lions in Africa.

Lindy Ingram

Lindy Ingram earned her B.B.A. in Business Systems Analysis as well as her Master’s of Business Administra-tion at Harding University. Upon graduation, Ingram started her career and her family. She moved to Texas and pursued a career in accounting, working as the controller for a banking technology company. Ingram is the co-owner of Lone Star Behavioral Health, which includes a psychiatric hospital and the Houston area’s largest be-havioral health partial hospitalization and outpatient program. This program utilizes equine assisted psychother-apy in its programs. Ingram began her career in the industry as a certified “horse professional”. She currently works as COO and CFO of all of the Ingram’s companies. In addition to her administrative duties, she is a certi-fied medical compliance officer and is certified as an instructor in non-violent physical crisis intervention. In-gram donates her time as a member on several community and charitable organizations.

Tim Freese

Tim Freese is the Director of Accounting for Major League Soccer team, D.C. United. He graduated from Harding University with a bache-lor’s degree in 2009 and a master’s degree in 2011. He also holds a master’s degree from Lipscomb University. He has worked in the sports and entertainment industry since 2010, holding various positions throughout high school, college and professional athletics. He currently resides in the Washington D.C area.

Roy Barnes

Roy Barnes is currently interim COO of Taylor Made Ambulances. Prior to this, Barnes served in key sales and management positions in the packag-ing and pharmaceutical industries including Presi-dent, VP and Director. Barnes serves as an elder at the College Church of Christ in Searcy. He graduat-ed from Harding in 1982 with a degree in Mathe-matics. Barnes and his wife, 1982 alumna Barbara, have two children, Kristin Edwards and Kris Barnes. They also have two grandchildren.
