Preliminary Lists

Dr. Paul Jacobi made preliminary lists of the families he researched. He divided the lists by the extent of research done on each family and designated each list by a letter of the alphabet, starting with “A” (being the group on which the most work was done). Note These preliminary lists predate the consolidated list of the 109 Family Studies, so the numbers do not correspond. The 109 Family Studies List (= 114 Monographs) is the more authoritative and takes precedence over the preliminary lists.
