Scissor Case Assortment

Nine designs for large size (Ginger Shears) scissors and accompaning small size (Ginger Embroidery) scissors. A totalof eighteen di�erent needle cases.
Each design has some notes included on possible embroidery stitches or needlework techniques that could be used to create the needlecase. The pattern shapes are simple and can be sewn easily.

A very �ne thread and small Stem Stitch for lines and Satin Stitch for heavierscroll work areas.

Design was created with shadow embroidry techniques in mind.
Stitching the bow on a sheer fabric (in a hoop) and then building thescissor case with a light background would be the intended method.
An alternate would be to do a shadow-work embroidery and fuse the bow pieces in a color fabric on to a light background, then cover the entiredesign with a sheer fabric and stitch the outline of all shapes in the designby hand in a uniform Running Stitch.
