Patronus Laboratories provides custom electrical and mechanical design, engineering and manufacturing services when no product is available in the market to satisfy the end user requirements.

Patronus Laboratories can provide custom software development in Access Control, CCTV and GPS verticals to meet end user requirements. Software development can be supported in any vertical as may be required by the end user requirements.

Patronus Laboratories Rack series NVR/Client systems extend upon the capability of our desktop server/client systems by

providing a range of high capacity storage op ons. Hard Disk Drive failures, while rare, without proper RAID level data

protec on can cause a loss of video or put the premise out of compliance with regula ons, therefore all of our RACK

system are configured to support various RAID levels to protect your cri cal video data and other databases.

ONVIF 2.4.1/Profile S compa bility has been tested with a range of Brand Name VMS solu ons enabling customers to u lize our elegant and cost effec ve line of cameras on their selected VMS pla orm, contact us for details. Mobile NVR Servers

Patronus Laboratories line of Rugged/Mobile NVR servers support both recording and display of video on one or more

monitor outputs. All Rugged/Mobile servers are designed for hash temperature, shock and vibra on condi ons and

support intelligent igni on power control. Built‐in PoE network ports eliminate the requirement for external PoE

switches. RAID protec on is available on systems suppor ng mul ple drives. All systems support one or more 2TB

Spinning Disks or Solid State Drives. The Opera ng System is installed on a 64GB Solid State mSATA card for resiliancy.

configura on enables diverse installa ons with minimal components. Our TDMA protocol eliminated video ji er o en

Patronus Labs Solar/Ba ery system Design & Engineering

Off‐grid solar system sizing is a complex calcula on. Most companies do not know about, much less understand, many of the factors that play a part in designing a solar system that will properly power and protect electrical equipment in an off‐grid 24/7/365 design. We design for an opera onal up me of 99.99% for 8‐12 years before any maintenance is required, barring a component failure. We have analyzed many of our compe tors systems against historical data collected and compiled by NASA; our reviews confirm our customer’s experiences – that these systems will typically provide at best a 92‐95% up me. Such systems will suffer 438‐700 hours of down me per year, for the first 2‐4 years – down me will increase substan ally therea er a er the components age and efficiency diminishes. In contrast, all of our systems are designed u lizing the degrad‐ed efficiency of components at approximately 12‐20 yrs. of age. This approach, coupled with insola on data compiled by NASA over more than two decades, explains why our systems are prized worldwide when powering mission cri cal systems.

The ba eries we use have a manufacturer rated life of 8‐12 years under proper discharging levels. The over‐discharging of any Lead‐Acid or GEL ba ery will lead to reduced charging capacity within as li le as 200 cycles (days). Marginally designed systems typically run the ba ery bank down too low on a daily basis, significantly shortening the life of the ba ery bank, requiring the replacement of the ba ery bank 2‐4 mes before the 8th year; the minimum me our ba ery banks are designed to last. Addi‐onally, such lapses in design considera on drama cally increase the cost of ownership dwarfing any ini al savings. In addi on

to the cost of replacement ba eries, owners must consider the added costs of labor and shipping. Financial implica ons must also be considered in conjunc on with the impact of opera onal failures caused by marginally designed power systems.

Patronus Labs off‐grid power systems are designed to provide in excess of 99% up me over 20 years with sparse maintenance every few years. This design results in a much lower cost of ownership and drama cally higher up mes than poorly designed cheaper systems. Our calcula ons are based on 22 year historical insola on and weather data collected by NASA for every loca‐on on the planet. We use 3 data points collated to 1/100th of a decimal place for every month of the year (36 data points) for

every la tude and longitude on the planet; not the generalized and averaged data u lized by other companies.
