Questions and Answers

• Which platforms will support the skin option

• Currently implemented in Windows only because Ribbons are Windows

oriented graphical interface. However, depending on the feedback and

selling effects, this could be extended to Linux in future versions

• In order to activate the skin, we have to add an option in the

executable icon (installation guide). Would it be possible for

users to chose activation of skin mode during installation

process?

• Good idea, PD will check feasibility

• Patran 2010 r1 will likely have a configuration-type file to manage

command line options

• Is the skin mode available only for MD Nastran preference?

• No it is available for all preferences (MSC.Nastran, Marc, Dytran, etc.)
