PATHWAYS TO SUCCESS IN THE WORKPLACE

These are keys that will unlock job satisfaction, job growth , salary

raise, job security and most of all open the door s success in the

workplace. What are those keys? They keys rely mostly on our

attitudes towards self, our goals and others. So everyone should

ask him/her how do I treat my needs? Do I have goals , and how do I

go about reaching them? How do I treat others? Do I treat others as I

would like them to treat me? These are like the ingredients every

good chef needs to prepare delicious meals for the customers.

The ability of the employee to combine good attitudes with employability

skills to in

working his/her way towards exceeding employer expectation.

To work to meet employers expectation can only keep you on the job, but

working

towards exceeding their expectation, can not only keep you on the job, but

provide you

with salary raise, rapid promotions and job satisfaction. You will be very

reliable and

all other workers will look up to you as ideal. The question is, how can you

achieve

this?

It is all about believing in yourself and having a positive attitude at all

times.

NON-ETHICAL BEHAVIOURS

• Being dishonest

• Stealing

• Misusing company resources

• Using alcohol or drugs (smelling and coming to work under

• Harassing a customer or coworker

• Bringing weapons to work

• Covering for a coworker unethical behaviour

• Lack of kitchen ethiqettes

Right ways:

1. Consider all alternatives to resolving the issues

2. Leave on good terms

3. Give at least two weeks notice

4. Stay productive
