We are continuing to talk about creation, and this is a week that the4:12 Kids have been looking forward to, because we are discussingdinosaurs. Dinosaurs were created on Day Six along with the otherland animals and lived with man. The book of Job mentionsBehemoth and Leviathan--both dinosaur-like creatures--created onDays Five and Six. Our key passages this week will be coming fromJob 40-41.

CELEBRATING WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE, EXPRESS OUR HEARTFELT GRATITUDE, ANDREMEMBER THE DAYS WE HAVE BEEN AND WHAT IS TO COME.

Hello Springfield Community Church,

When Pastor Ray approached me about the role of the Children's Ministry Director’s position, I will behonest with you and tell you that I had my concerns. I knew that this was a big commitment, and I wasnervous that I wouldn’t do it well enough. After talking with my husband and praying about it, we realizedthat this is a great opportunity for us to step out in faith and to really trust the Lord in a new way.My husband Chad and I have lived in Lomira since we got married 10 years ago. We have 4 children (Jaylen-9,Aubrey-7 in a few weeks, Josiah-4, and Alivia-2), so we definitely keep busy. I taught in several of Fond du Lac’selementary schools until Jaylen was born. Then we decided that it was best for our family that I stayed homeas a stay-at-home mom, and our current plan is that I will continue to do that until Alivia goes to school in afew years. We started attending Springfield Community Church from the beginning when we were meeting in LomiraHigh School. We felt strongly that believers had to come alongside the church to help it grow, and we werealso excited that our children would meet more believers from our community. I started teaching in thechildren’s ministry area right away, and I loved that I was still getting the opportunity to teach in theclassroom once again. I have really enjoyed working alongside the previous directors, and I cannot wait to see how God will continueto grow the program. I am eager to continue following our 4:12 Kids vision which says we want to win kids toChrist, disciple them as they grow, and equip them to defend their faith when they are sent out of ourclassrooms.

I cannot wait to get to know our Springfield families better. If we haven’t had a chance to meet yet, pleaseintroduce yourself to me. I always love meeting new people. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have anyquestions or concerns. Also, we are always looking for volunteers that love working with children, so pleasecontact me if this is a desire of yours.

Thank you,Jodi Smith
