April 2016 Pastor, Pastor, & Pastor Over our spring break travel, Melanie and I discussed how it was exactly a year ago during spring break that we finally moved into our Johnstown home. We spent the first four months dependent on one of our church family's willingness to lend us their furnished basement. We are thankful for their generosity and thankful to have a pad to call home. But it was also this time last year that our pastoral search committee was reviewing names and huddling in conversation to fill the pastor of evangelism position to which Pastor Nestor and Katherine became the answers. Feels a little like déjà vu this spring, as we are again busy on this campus with pastoral searches for our campus. Our campus chaplain pastor, Nick Clark and his family have felt God's call to make a transition. It has been a privilege for me to work with Nick and we wish the Clarks God's speed. A small team is looking through names for that leadership role and we covet your prayers. Back on the church side of campus, God has opened a door to move toward another pastor leader on our staff. There are some dreams* for advancing the kingdom of Jesus that this additional position would help make possible. Our church board and elders' council have reviewed the survey results in the area of needs for pastoral ministry and have weighed in with energetic conversation. The specific job description and focus of an additional pastor is not finished but your survey responses** have been a huge help and you are invited to continue to share your thoughts as we define this position. Again, your prayers for this process and the search committee (the same members as a year ago) are coveted. *The pastoral team has been dreaming with the conference on ideas of more focus on reaching and impacting the community and creating a team of young people to travel the conference in the summer engaging churches and communities in public and In This Issue Our Church in Action School News All About People Birthdays Actions of the Board Stay Connected Quick Links Campion Church Campion Academy HMS Richards Elementary Rocky Mountain Conference Our Mission We serve and glorify God through Christcentered worship, individual spiritual growth, youth involvement, and community interaction. Our Church in Action

Loveland Cougars Pathfinder BibleExperience Team Moves on to NADTesting By Amelia ZimmermanThe Loveland Cougars Pathfinder BibleExperience team is headed to the NorthAmerican Division Pathfinder BibleExperience in Prescott, Arizona, onApril 16. This is the third consecutiveyear that the team has made it out ofUnion level testing, with a lot of hardwork and prayer. So how do youmotivate young teens to study hard anddedicate themselves to memorization ofGod's Word? The key is make it fun,

make it relevant, and make it all about Jesus! "I feel so incredibly blessed to have beeninvolved in PBE," says team member Amelia Zimmerman, "It is not only fun andrewarding to see our hard work pay off, but I have grown closer to Jesus through mystudies." The entire team wants to give a huge thank you for the support of theconference, the Campion church congregation, their coach Phyllis Zimmerman, and mostof all, Jesus.

Ian and Stacey chose Campion as their new homechurch, feeling that there is a strong familyatmosphere. They are very impressed by theHospitality Team, saying how much it means to themto be greeted warmly every Sabbath and the teamremembering their names. Also, the pastors including

them in activities has meant a lot.

Although there have been struggles in their spiritual journey, they have come throughthem and learned not to lean on people but to lean on God. Welcome to CampionChurch, Ian and Stacey; we are so pleased that you have chosen us as your new churchfamily. Interview by Muriel Indermuehl
