Instructional Competence A. Lesson Planning and Delivery 1. Specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely objectives should have been formulated/adopted. 2. Adequate, congruent and appropriate instructional materials should have been prepared and well selected. 3. Different methods and strategies should have been applied to maximize students’ participation. 4. Drills, review and informal assessment should have been conducted in order to relate new lesson with the previous one. 5. Different motivations that arouse students’ interest and participation should have been provided through varied instructional materials. 6. Appropriate strategies using varied teaching tools should have been utilized in order to meet students’ need and to attain/adopt the formulated objectives. 7. Examples should have been presented in unlocking familiar terms that would be used/applied by the learners in other situations. 8. Simple and varied questions should have been raised in order to link present with previous lessons to attain/adopt the objectives. 9. Individual and group activities should have been utilized to ensure students’ involvement and teacher’s task as facilitator. 10. Different teaching aids and varied materials, activities, exercises should have been provided and close supervision and remedial teaching should have been done to address individual differences.

anecdotal records, academic records, conducting pre-test and home visitation.13. Learners should have been evaluated through summative and formative quizzes, recitations or on the spot test.14. Clean and orderly classroom should have been maintained.15. Classroom conducive to learning should have been attained and maintained;

varying seating arrangements, providing accessible learning tools/aids that would facilitate learning and manifesting discipline to lead students’ toward proper decorum.

C. Learners’ Achievement At the end of six months:

1. The achievement levels of the learners’ should have been improved by 5%or above.

D. School, Home and Community Involvement At the end of six months:

1. An active and functional homeroom PTA meeting should have been maintained and used as a venue/channel in reporting and disseminatingschool policies, plans and programs in attaining a common goal for the improvement of the school.

2. Homeroom PTA meeting should have been conducted at least once in 3months to report learners’ development.

3. School policies, plans, programs and accomplishments/achievements shouldhave been properly disseminated to at least 75% of the schools’ clienteles.

4. community projects should have been initiated and civic organization activities should have been participated.

5. Parents’ participation and involvement should have been encouraged by atleast 61-80% rating.

II. Professional and Personal Characteristics

During the six months period, decisiveness, honesty, dedication, resourcefulness, courtesy, human relation, leadership, tolerance, justice and proper attire and good grooming should have been manifested most of the time.

III. Punctuality and Attendance

For the entire six months, punctuality should have been set and met with times tardy not more than 3 times; absences should have been minimized to days not more than 3.
