Future Tense This sentence describes something

that is going to happen in the future.

“I wil l sail to Florida next week.”

Present Tense This sentence describes something that is happening right now. “I am sai ling to Florida.”

Past Tense This sentence describes something

that happened in the past.

“I sai led to Florida last week.”
