PAST CONTINUOUS

So what are we going to talk about today?

And what is it?

Affermative form:Subject+was/were+ing form

Negative form:Subject+wasn’t/weren’t+ing form

Page 4: Past continuous & past perfect

Interrogative form:

Was + I/he/she/it + -ing form

Were + you/we/they + -ing form

Short answers:

Yes/No + I/he/she/it + was/wasn’t

Yes/No + You/we/they + were/weren’t

Page 5: Past continuous & past perfect

We use it for:-Actions that were happening in certain moment of the past-Two actions that were happening at the same time in the past

… and for:-Temporary situations in the past-Actions that continued for a certain moment in the past
