Pneumatic gate and electronic fingers are the two systems chosen for product collation respectively for low and medium speed. Both allow fast change-over on the widest range of pack patterns and optimal pressure control needed on very unstable containers

Product collation

The flaps of the carton are accurately folded, glued and sealed by means of continuous motion sides and upper folders. The folding and compression system are designed to allow a quick and simple change over trough hand-wheel, gigs and rulers. The glueing is ensured by 6 glue guns.

Carton transferring, erecting and product loadingPicked blanks from the magazine are transferred into the erecting section by means of a motor to ensure a perfect synchronization with the arrival of the products. This ensures an high efficiency even in presence of light weight, tall and unstable products. The machine can work either with corrugated or chipboard .

Carton magazine with top pick-upThe carton blanks are stored flat into the magazine, which is easily accessible from the side being fully opened. The magazine is equipped with a side hopper to make possible the cartons re-fill while the machine is running. The blanks pick-up by suction cups is from the top. The blank picked is always the first of the stack. As a benefit the quantity of blanks stored in the magazine does not interfere with the performance of the pick-up granting always the maximum efficiency.

The WR machine can be integrated with the shrink-wrapping unit. The machine becomes able to pack with tray+film, film only, tray only, high-wall tray and full wraparound case.

The WR machine is available with different level of HMI for error messages display, production data monitoring, change over settings, etc. allowing a full control of the machine.
