-Center : Block On to Over. If you have no rusher directly

in front of you then help the next man to weak-side but stay

to outside of the Tackle. F to take Strongside, H to take

    Weakside.

-Look Inside to Outside to be aware of any inside blitz not

    picked up by Linemen.

If Tackle to your side is coveredand there is another rusher

outside of him that is your man.

-For single back sets (Black, Bunch) H always looks for

    biggest threat.

In order to effectively run our pass offense, there will be certain rules that will apply. In somecases, these rules will apply to a specific pass series, and in some cases, they will apply to allpasses. The numbering starts from the outside in towards the ball.

PLAYSIDE RULES1. Any time a receiver gets a 0" called for his pattern, he will run the FIRST TAG called in the

play. Example: RAG 550 Wheel (#2 receiver runs the wheel)

    2. When there is a #3 receiver to the called side, He will run a #9 pattern unless he is Tagged.

*If there is a 0" called in the pattern combination*a. He will run the SECOND TAG CALLED.b. If only one TAG, you are not Tagged and should run a 9 pattern

*If there is no 0" called in the last 2 digits*a. He will run the TAG CALLED

    Examples:

    550 Wheel (#1-5 pattern, #2-Wheel, #3-9 pattern)550 Wheel, Stay (#1-5 pattern, #2-Wheel, #3- Stay)

BACKSIDE OUTSIDE RECEIVER (#1 backside)1. Backside outside receiver will mirror the playside #1 receiver in the 300/400.2. Backside outside receiver will always run a SKINNY POST in the 100/200, 500/600,700/800, and 900/000 series. DO NOT CROSS THE HASH TO YOUR SIDE.

BACKSIDE INSIDE RECEIVER (#2 backside)3. Backside inside or single receiver will mirror in the 300/400 & will run LEVELS in all otherseries.

ALL BACKSIDE RECEIVERS4. Any Backside SHORT motion will always run LEVELS5. Running Back will run specific TAG assigned. Ex. H DRAG

LEVELSA simple system of backside patterns will exist in our pass offense. In the rules listed above, you will notice the term LEVELS mentioned twice. In rule #3, the backside receiver is told torun LEVELS. There will be two possible LEVELS which the backside receiver can run. Thefirst is the CROSS level at a depth of 4-6 yds. and the second is the DRAG level at a depthof 12 yds. The receivers rule is to; FILL THE FIRST EMPTY LEVEL

Tags are called patterns designed to add on to our passing tree. TAGS will be patterns notnormally found in our trees. Any time that a receiver hears a 0" for their route call, they

will run the TAG route that follows. If a receiver hears a 0" and there is no TAG called, hewill automatically run a BUBBLE route.

    TAGS (not in trees)

    1. SIT

A SIT pattern will send the called receiver to the middle area between the linebackers at adepth of 5 yards.

    2. OPPOSITEThis TAG sends a backside receiver all the way across the field to the playside deep flag area.

Receiver does not have a designated cut, he must find a way to get to the area as quickly as possibleand learn to work off of the #1 mans pattern.

    3. JAM

TE(Y) pattern. TE blocks assignment for a two count, then releases to the flat.

    4. DRAG

Second level crossing pattern. Receiver works across field to a depth of 12 yds.

    5. BUBBLE

Tells the receiver to arc behind the Line of scrimmage and look for a quick pass.

    6. SAILTell receiver to bend to the outside between an over and under pattern combination

    and find an open area.

    7. ARCHTells the receiver to take a release to the outside of the receiver to his outside and

    head up the sideline.

    8. STAYThis TAG tells the receiver to stay in and pass protect. ONLY A RECEIVER IN THE TE BOX CAN

    STAY.
