What is Passbook (1/2)?

Passbook is an application developed by Apple to collect virtual objects like tickets and boarding passes in one place.

These tickets can be transferred directly via the app, via e-mail or from a website.

Passbook can be used on other smartphone operating systems as well (Android, Blackberry)

What is Passbook (2/2)?

With Passbook, trade fairs can reach their audience directly and on a more personal level

Visitors automatically receive a greeting as soon as they reach the vicinity of the event

The ticket's QR code will show up on the screen of the user's device at the entrance. There is no need to go searching for the ticket on the smartphone.
