Danang - City of Bridges – Connecting 3 World Cultural Heritages: Hue Ancient Capital, Hoi An Ancient Town & My Son Sanctuary

Not only is the center of world heritage in 2003, Da Nang city has many beautiful landscapes that visitors can hardly forget that after visiting this city, such as: Marble Moutains Marble Mountains is a cluster of five marble and limestone hills located in Ngu Hanh Son ward, south of Danang city. The five 'mountains' are named after the five elements; Kim (metal), Thuy (water), Moc (wood), Hoa (fire) and Tho (earth). With the mysterious, dreamlike scenery, pagodas and caves, Ngu Hanh Son has been actually the Eden for the travelers. The stone carving village stretching along the road leading to the Ngu Hanh Son entrance is also a very attractive sight for visitors. At this village, you can admire all those wonderful works created by patient craftsmen right in front of you. All the stones for the works are taken and transferred from the Marble Mountains.

Linh Ung Pagoda Built on a site of 12 hectares on the Son Tra Peninsula, the Lin Ung Pagoda is the largest in Da Nang in terms of scale and artistic architecture. The pagoda is famous for its beautiful 67-metre-tall Goddess of Mercy statue standing on a lotus-shaped platform. Inside the statue, which is equivalent to a 30-storey building, there are 17 levels, allowing visitors to admire the view from different heights. Each of the 17 levels houses 21 Buddha statues, with different appearances, expressions and gestures.

Local Market In the mind of Vietnamese people, "market" is a very familiar picture in daily life. People can find out a crowded and animated market everywhere in this country, Vietnam, from tranquil suburb to crowded urban areas. Market is not only the place for trading and exchanging goods and services but also the thing that expresses the traditional cultures of the country in the most meaningful way.
