TO SUBMIT PAYMENT• All bookings and payments are taken online. We do not accept payment over the phone.

• Select your Party Package • If you would like to change your selected package type, you must notify us within 10 days of your party and we will

update your reservation. • Do not select the “Annual Pass Holder” party option unless you are an Annual Pass holder at the time of purchase. If

you select this option, you will be asked to present your pass when you arrive. You will be required to pay the difference if you have selected this option and are not an Annual Pass holder.

• Select the date and time of your event based on availability. • If you wish to change your reservation, you must notify us first.

• Follow the prompts to enter your information to complete the booking.

• Once your payment is complete, you will receive a confirmation email with your tickets included.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel your booking two weeks or more before the party date we can provide a full refund. If you cancel 2 weeks or less, we can reschedule your party for another day and/or time (subject to availability). If you need to cancel 24 hours or less before the party, we cannot offer a refund or reschedule your event.

• It is important that your entire group (or majority) arrives at your scheduled check-in time. Upon arrival, please check in at the Admissions desk.

• You will be greeted by our admission host who will assist you with your check-in, attach wristbands to you and your guests, and sell any additional adult tickets you may need to purchase. You may play inside the attraction until your party time; the birthday host will meet you in front of the private party room, which is located in the coffee shop, at the start of your room time.

• When arriving at your private party room, you’ll find:

• The room decorated with balloons

• Party crowns available for each child and LEGO take-home gift

• Pizza and drinks will be ready to serve. Each person will get their own pizza box with a large slice of cheese pizza.

• If you placed an order for additional party food this will be served buffet style

• The last thing served are the cupcakes. The birthday host will put the cupcake on a plate and light the candle while the party sings happy birthday to the birthday child. The cupcakes are easy to serve so guests can help themselves.

• Once the time in the private room is up, you are welcome to put your leftovers and presents in the coat / locker area located on the first floor or bring your items to your car.

• You and your guests are then free to enjoy the Center for the remainder of your party after the hour in the private room is up. Typically, guests spend 2 hours in the Center plus their hour in the room. Your party host does not remain with you during this time and any additional beverages or food needed while in the Center are not complimentary.

• If you wish, pick-up can take place in front of the Center in retail where you first arrived. Birthday parents generally communicate this to any parents who are just dropping off their children for the party.

Invitations We offer online or downloadable LEGO themed invites.

Arrival & Check-in• We recommend having the majority of your group

gathered together prior to checking in with the admission deks. If you have any emergencies, are running late, or just have questions you can contact our Manager on Duty at (914) 602-8878. If you are running late, we will do our best to accommodate your party in the time remaining, but we cannot extend your time in the private room past the 1 hour allotted.

• If some of your guests arrive late, one of our party hosts will do their best to escort all late guests to the party room.

Address & ParkingLEGOLAND® Discovery Center is located in the Streets of Woodfield (601 N. Martingale Rd. Schaumburg, IL 60173). There is free parking in front of the attraction and a garage located on the south side of the mall near AMC.

What to Bring• We ask all party parents to fill out a guest list (you

can find a template on Page 6) to assist with our check-in process. Please send us this in advance and bring a copy day of the event. Make sure everyone’s name is on the list who is coming to the party, this includes yourselves and the birthday child. If there are additional guests not on the list, and the room is not at capacity, they will need to purchase their ticket in Admissions.

• Please bring with you the email confirmation of your order, either printed or you can present this on your mobile device.

• Other than the above, no need to bring anything else. We’ll handle the rest!

Additional Orders• We do not allow outside food in the Center and we

cannot add additional food on the day of your party. All extra food orders need to be placed 10 days in advance using the order form on page 10. Food can always be puchased in the Cafe al la cart, but please note we do not sell pizza or cupcakes in our Cafe.

Special Dietary Requests Safety is our highest priority, so please notify us of any allergies or special dietary needs prior to your event and we will work with you to accommodate.

Policies• We do not allow outside food in the Center for the

safety of our other guests.

• Party supplies (including the candle) are provided. If you would like to bring additional party décor, you are welcome to do so but please note, we do not allow anything that needs to be attached to the wall or attach to the ceiling.

StorageWe do not provide storage for items after you leave your party room. There is a coat area and lockers for you to use, or you can take your items out to your car. Please note that LEGOLAND® Discovery Center is not held accountable for any lost items.

Recommendations• We recommend having at least 1 adult per 5 children

to assist with keeping a watchful eye over party guests while in the Center. The party host will not be available to assist your party guests once out of the party room.

• For Merlin’s Apprentice Ride, guests must be 36 inches to ride with an adult and 48 inches to ride alone. For Kindom Quest all riders must be able to sit upright unaided, and children under 48 inches tall must have an adult ride with them. Our 4D Theater has no height restrictions but there will be loud sounds, flashing lights, and 4D effects!

• Our VR pods are meant for ages 6+ where you experience The Great LEGO® Race! During your race you will experience sudden movements, virtual reality visuals, and loud sounds. Cost is $6 per person.

• We advise sharing the pick-up and drop-off instructions in advance to parents who are not staying for the party. A typical party takes 3 hours and the retail store can be used for both the pick-up and drop-off location if you wish.

Please provide us with your guest list upon 2 days prior to your arrival to assist with the check-in process. Only include the equivalent number of paid guest to your party package. Any additional guests outside of the party package will need to purchase additional tickets upon arrival and will only be granted access to the Center, The private party room cannot exceed 30 people. (Tickets at the door are $24.95 +tax)

Q: Is outside food or catering allowed?

A: Outside food or catering is not allowed for the safety of our other guests in the Center. We do have a Coffee Shop that sells sandwiches, hot dogs, and other snack foods for those that may be interested in additional food options or who have special dietary needs.

Q: Can you accommodate special dietary needs?

A: We can accommodate special dietary needs with various offerings in our Coffee Shop. The pizza and cupcakes provided with the party, however, are not guaranteed to be allergen, dairy or gluten-free. If you have special dietary needs, please let us know and we will work with you on an option.

Q: What are the beverages offered at the party?

A: Water is offered with every party. We also provide liters of Lemonade. We do not offer any additional beverage choices.

Q: Can I order additional pizza for my party?

A: Yes, you can place an order for additional food 10 days prior to your party using the order form on page 10.

Q: Can I order additional food for my party on the day?

A: No, all party food is supplied by an outside vendor and needs to be arranged 10 days in advance.

Q: What does the theming for the party include?

A: We offer colored plates and utensils. Each LEGOLAND® room comes with table top balloons. If you would like to bring additional décor, we do not recommend this but it is certainly allowed. You may bring decorations for the table but we do not allowed anything to be hung on the walls or from the ceilings.

Q: What do the cupcakes look like? Will it be decorated?

A: The cupcakes will be decorated with white frosting and sprinkles.

Q: What is the flavor options of the cupcakes?

A: Your cupcakes flavor options are vanilla or chocolate

Q: Are candles supplied?A: Yes, we supply one

candle for the birthday child. The candle will be lit on their cupcake by the birthday host.

Q: What is the LEGO Mini Build Take Home model?

A: This is a LEGO poly bag set. The kits come with approx 35 bricks and peices.

Q: How many people can I bring to my child’s birthday party?

A: Our private party rooms cannot exceed 30 people, which includes adults and children. You can only bring the amount of people you paid for. This includes adults, grandparents, parents of party attendees, and all children including the birthday child and children under 2 years old. There must be at least 1 adult present for the party, however, we highly recommend 1 adult per 5 children.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Can I purchase tickets for additional people outside of the number in my party?

A: Yes. There is a ticket option for additional guests available for purchase at the door for $24.95 a person. This ticket gets the person access to the Center and private party room only if the number doesn’t exceed room capacity. Access to the cupcakes, beverage, or food is not included. If the room is at capcity individuals will typically spend the first hour in the Coffee Shop and join the party in the Center once the hour in the private party room is up.

Q: What if I want to have a party for more than 30 people?

A: If you want to hold a party for more than 30 people, we would suggest coming into the facility as a group instead of a birthday, due to our birthday room’s capacity. This means you would not be able to get anything in the birthday party package, but you can get the group discount and visit the attraction.

Q: Can I schedule a walk-through before booking my party?

A: Absolutely, we’d be happy to host you for a walk-through. We ask that you book this in advance with us, and it’s preferred that this take place Monday-Friday.

Q: How do I submit payment? Do you accept down payments?

A: All payment is taken online; we do not accept payment over the phone, except for food orders. We do not accept down payments; all payment are made in full at the time of booking.

Q: Once in the Center, will I still have access to our party host?

A: The dedicated party host is with your party during your time in the private room. This individual will also assist with any needs you may have before or after the time in the private room to the best of their ability. We recommend that you have at least 1 adult per 5 children while in the Center to help oversee the children.
