Falls onto hard objects in playgrounds can pose life threatening head, neck or back injury.

The low platforms under upper body overheads or climber activities now form a hard object in the falling space and do not meet the impact requirements of the NZS:5828:2015. These platforms should be covered with an impact attenuating rubber pad that meets the critical fall height requirements of the corresponding activity.

Park Supplies uses a 60mm thick rubber formulated and wet poured pad that we custom make, supply or fi t to your existing playground platforms.

SAFETY INSPECTIONPLAYGROUND

The annual main inspection should be carried out yearly

by a third party to establish the overall level of safety

and compliance, foundations and surfaces.

Our comprehensive Level 3 inspection is a site audit of

the play equipment and surfacing followed by an

electronic report that includes photos, risk assessment

and recommendations for every finding.

The inspection report includes:
