This new partnership combines WPS’ 75 years of experience in health insurance with Auxiant’s nearly 40 years of third-party health administration to deliver a dynamic new offering. Our goal is to be a trusted advisor for each and every self-funded employer who chooses us.

» What Is WPS powered by Auxiant?

WPS powered by Auxiant is a strategic partner-ship where both organizations add their strengths to create a joint product offering for the self-fund-ed market. We believe that, working together, we are jointly positioned to provide a more compre-hensive solution that self-funded employers need.

» When does this partnership begin?

WPS powered by Auxiant is available for employers with more than 50 covered employees for effective dates of Jan. 1, 2022, or later. Proposals can be requested now.

» What if I have an employer with fewer than 50 employees that is looking for a self-funded plan?

WPS will continue to offer its Freedom Essentials plan for employers with 10–49 employees.

» How do I request a proposal?

A proposal can be requested through your WPS Account Executive.

» If a group is currently covered by a WPS ASO plan, how will it be impacted?

For employers with more than 50 covered lives, their WPS Account Executive will be reaching out to discuss options. Employers will not see any changes until their renewal in 2022. Employers with fewer than 50 covered employees will not see any immediate change.

» If a group is currently covered by an Auxiant ASO plan, how will it be impacted?

Existing Auxiant business will not be affected at this time, but will be able to move to the new product at some point during 2022.
