Lion’s Pride. Lead and Learn with the Lincoln Lions.
Welcome to a brand new school year!We are excited to have your child as a student at LECS. There are so many exciting learning
opportunities for students at our school!
MEET THE TEACHER NIGHT!This event will be held on Thursday
September 14 at 6:00pm.This is for parents of students in all grades K-5.
We will be a brief information session in the gym, and then parents are invited to visit their child’s classroom where you
will be provided information about class expectations and curriculum. Coffe and muffins will be served.
School Enrolment – Every school is alotted their number of teachers based on enrolment. Our school population fluctuates and sometimes changes must be made throughout the month of September. Please understand that there may be some class/teacher changes if necessary, based on our numbers.
PALS and PSSC VolunteersOur Parents Assisting Lincoln School (PALS) Committee is always looking for additional
volunteers. This fabulous group of volunteers plan and organize fundraising and other
activities for our school. Everything they do benefits our students!
The Parent-School Support Committee (PSSC) is a group of committed volunteers who work with the Principal on the School Improvement Plan, Positive Learning Environment and other work
that makes our school a great place to be.
At Meet the Teacher on September 14th, there will be sign up sheets for both of these
committees – please help us out if you can!Student Agenda BookPlease take the time to review the information
about our school in the front portion of your child’s agenda. It contains important
information about our policies, procedures and expectations.
We request all parents/guardians read the important school information contained in the
student agenda, page two to page twelve. You need to sign – page 12 acknowledging an understanding of the District Protocol for Violent Threat Risk Assessments and to acknowledge you have read the school
information. It is important to check the agenda nightly for
notices in the plastic pocket in the back, and homework or notes from the teacher on the
daily page. This book is an important communication tool
between home and school. Thank you.
