Greetings, The long awaited CERT Program has finally arrived. The CERT class will commence on August the 20 th and run 9 consecutive Sat-urdays from 9:00AM to 12:00 PM at the Police Co mmunity Training Roo m with the exception of Labor Day weekend. I will be ac-cepting applications from CFA and CPA Graduates beginning June 27th, 2005 through July 22nd, 2005. The applications were sent with this newsletter, if you did not get an application for some reason you may pick one up fro m my desk at the Police Department. There are only 30 places for students in the CERT Classes. In the event, that I receive too many applications for the fall CERT class I will do a lottery drawing with the applications that were turned in to me during the specified time periods. You will need to check your calendar and make sure that you will be present for each session, since we will be covering a lot of information in a short period of time. Thanks for your interest and continued support of the City of Eu less. We will also start the 21st Citizens Police Academy on August the 18th at 7:00 PM. I am currently accepting applications for this class and need your assistance in getting the word out. You may have the interested Citizens or Business Owners contact me or you can give them an application. You may also get these applications fro m my office or the front lobby of the Police Department. Keep up the Good Work! Sincerely, Gary

Condolences To Joe Hoerth on the loss of his mother, Hildegard Helen Hoerth
